thank you so much. I live in Australia & work in data security. Understanding impacts of sun on navigational systems, electrical fluctuations etc. invaluable to work. It's also just very enjoyable learning from you & Matthew S.

Thank you again for your comprehensive briefing covering the space weather we can expect for the next week. I enjoy your podcast for the fact that you give us a comprehensive list of information. You bring a perspective of a knowledgeable academic with a little reality check added in for the catastrophists in the audience. I truly appreciate your hard work in compiling and sharing your knowledge with me. I'm considering taking one of the classes to teach here on the Internet. I look forward to one day meeting you in person. You are a down to earth space weather scientist. No impending doom feeling when I listen to your briefing. Thank you again doc.

Dr. Skov I’m new to your channel so my question is probably really dumb but I’m curious about whether it’s possible to predict solar storms or solar activity before it actually begins?

Hey Tamitha, have you noticed the moon going from wax to wane in one night??? Seems none of these sky watchers even want to mention it??
@WildAlchemicalSpirit11 ай бұрын
I look at the moon all the time and didn't notice anything so that's why I didn't mention anything personally. 🤷🏼♀️
@TamithaSkov11 ай бұрын
It may be due to the Moon being near apogee right now that it makes it appear to change phases more rapidly than normal. This is also why we are having an annular eclipse on the 14th instead of a total eclipse.

🚴♀️THEOREM: Magnetic and cymatic transfer of Earth's negative energy datas (for equilibrium betwixt the 3 celestial orbs to be mentioned), simultaneously, and at the whollyest moment possible [Note the equal day lengths, from Earth poles north to south, during the recent September Celestial Equator Equinox], to the sun dispose-all (and through the moon, cymatically, to the sun) as the sun, moon, and Earth orbs align on 10-14-23. Thus, negative energies would be "de-ionized", while "tractor-beamed" from our planet, via the sympathetically vibrant moon, and the magnetic sun's draw [note, remember cessation of ferrous emissions from the sun to our planet, allows for such equilibriums to be automatically maintained], and then, burnt beyond recognition. In short, flaming a**holes are naturally drawn to the "Ring of Fire" analurious eclipsed lighting. Like Jesus told the bad guys to turn around...for total a total eclipse of the heart, haha. Love you all. Have a great tour date. Energy's Us

Thanks for this update! ("How many 'Baams!' do I have to say?" that was funny). Do airlines take this radiation risk into account (e.g. by choosing alternative routes) or currently is it just up to us customers provided we are nerdy enough to know (or even care) about space weather? Thanks again Dr. Skov for your indispensable weather updates.

That ring of fire should be fascinating to witness. I'll tell my sister in San Antonio about it. By the way, there'll be another solar eclipse next April. I think it's on the 9th. It should be fascinating to check the effect of the eclipse on HF propagation.
