I look at the moon all the time and didn't notice anything so that's why I didn't mention anything personally. 🤷🏼‍♀️

It may be due to the Moon being near apogee right now that it makes it appear to change phases more rapidly than normal. This is also why we are having an annular eclipse on the 14th instead of a total eclipse.

That ring of fire should be fascinating to witness. I'll tell my sister in San Antonio about it. By the way, there'll be another solar eclipse next April. I think it's on the 9th. It should be fascinating to check the effect of the eclipse on HF propagation.
