geday great vidio compact boat is great is it a sevylor ? thought your bed was to small you need to lower your kitchen so the whole van is a bed when folded down really enjoy watching the freedom and beuty of your travels i do the same in aus hey i see oddie also loves the freedom take care live the dream 😁

Thats a great day right there. Good times! How did you get on with the mechanical issues with pam? Auto gearbox all fixed now? Van life is like a path of continual improvement for us all! Ive got a few ideas for van layout to share that might work for you too. I will drop you some photos of my project, it may help you.

ah thats a shame. have you looked at the car hammock or the jammock? they are more like square sheets of fabric compared to normal hammocks. they even show a dog on one! carhammock.com but maybe it still wouldnt work. if the hammock is going the whole width of the van then it might be too awkward to get into it

Your videos are fun and professional, well done. Wish I could do that. Do you mind mentioning which software you use eg is it all done through only one video editing software program (the inserting sounds, effects, text overlays). Is it easy enough to use? Your blog is great, even though there are not so many comments. I read, without commenting there, thanks for your effort/explanations. You mentioned car at an angle means sliding out of bed. If mostly at the same tilt like a curb side, maybe design this time bed on other side of van so you slide to rest up against wall. Probably not that simple!!! Do you have a tips section, like on a blog? A couple of useful things I found while on the road was using a water spray bottle sometimes instead of a water bottle, prevents excess water use and spills. Such as for shaving or wetting hair, washing hands. Also an electric toothbrush powered just by USB (via car 12v cigarette socket with usb) is handy rather than having to use an inverter or power point somewhere else.

Hi there! Oh thank you, I really have a long way to go with my video making skills! I use kdenlive which is a free software that works on ubuntu. I find it quite easy to use and I really am a beginner. Your idea about having a tips section is great, maybe I could write a little blog post on that? Yes electric toothbrushes are the BOMB. Wonder if there is an electric toothbrush funclub we can join (i swear, no sarcasm here, I mean it).
