Thank you for your work, Michael. You've influenced many generations of motorcyclists, myself included. I bought two bikes without test riding them, purely based on your reviews, and was never disappointed. Your stories also made life bearable during times when I couldn't ride.

Really enjoyed this yearly review Mr. Neeves. Doesn’t seem two minutes since we were waiting for the first reviews of the year in 24? A community track day sounds like a great idea, I noticed that you rode and camped when you did Cadwell this year? I think taking a ‘road’ bike to track can encourage a more ‘relaxed’ approach to riding on track (you have to get home after all?), could make for a nice social event. You could do some ‘ride-arounds’ with each ability group - and we’ll all stump up for your beer money 😂

Happy Christmas Michael! High quality content as usual. My question is about your comment on Yamaha CP3 engine. After owning a Street Triple 765 R for 3 years, I switched to Tracer 9 earlier this year. Despite I like the torque band of the engine, I find myself consuming the rev range way too fast, often hitting the rev limiter. What do you mean by it needs to be ridden like a 2 cylinder? Asking because I never rode a 2 cylinder bike.

Hi Mr. Neeves, what is your advice for commuters who would like to buy a motorcycle with a larger engine? I live in Santa Monica, California, commute 25 miles to a white collar job. I currently ride a Yamaha XMAX with a top box because I need the storage for my change of clothes and office bag. But I have learned that I occasionally need more power to get through some of the more challenging pinch points in Los Angeles traffic. I'd love to buy a TMAX because it has more power and the same storage as my bike, but those scooters are not sold in the US. Would you recommend a bike with an engine between 600-800 cc (a Triumph Tiger 660 Sport, Triumph Tiger Sport 800, Suzuki SV 650)? Or would the more appropriate bike have less than 600 cc? As always, I enjoy your work, learn a great amount from your videos, and hope that you keep producing insightful pieces. Thank you for your time.

Iv been watching and reading ur stuff since ya joined the magazine but it seems like u along with most media have become apologetic ta younger and some older riders about full on sport bikes, modern supersport and superbikes now r extremely comfortable, back in the 80's and nineties and early 2000's the distance between ass and handlebar was a huge distance and therefore ur wrists did get sore but mate that is no longer the case , if u ride properly u don't lean on ya wrists u use ya knees ta hold on a little and it's fine , footpegs arnt that bad either and if it's that much of a problem get adjustable pegs , just please stop putting them down and start encouraging people to ride this sort of bike otherwise no one at all will buy them , young kids won't c them riding round on the road and if manufacturers stop making them , superbike racing will turn into boring 100hp twins with high handlebars racing with pipe smoking pants tucked into socks and cowboy boots riding riders.
