I hope you guys could visit & take us to the beautiful Palo Metropolitan Cathedral next time you're in Palo, Leyte! You can also visit Red Beach, McArthur Landing Memorial National Park, Guinhangdan Hill and the Palo Mangrove Reservation. We would love to see how these places look now in 2024, a decade after Typhoon Yolanda. Thanks!

I like your road trip videos! I hope it's not too hot because I heard the Philippines has a very high heat index at the moment. I even read something about schools closing for two days. Always protect yourselves against a heat stroke! Wearing a hat might be a good idea. Take care, my friends!

It’s hot but not unbearable where we are Paul. We have rain every few days but only a shower or so. At the moment water supplies are still ok. It’s pretty draining all around the country but hopefully it gets better soon. God bless you 😊

That was funny when Jane went to the car that resembled the driving instruction vehicle rather than the Raize. The garden is really thriving and the way seems to be back in the afternoons. How is the community garden doing? There must be lots of things there that need trimming or harvesting.

Jane was confused for a moment my friend! The garden really is doing well considering the lack of rain. The community garden is ok but we don’t have a permanent water source there yet so are on pause. It will resume next month and then we have lots more time to really get it underway. God bless you 😊

I once came out of the Post Office and noticed my car had snow buildup around the tires. I went around and kicked all the snow off. When I opened the door, the lady sitting inside said, "thank you" , and started laughing. Wrong car. We both got a story to share that day.

We have a lot more to learn and explore of Leyte my friend along with surrounding islands. We will be doing it though and enjoying every minute. The strawberries really are getting better and better. We are blessed. Have a great day 😊

It’s a beautiful road my friend but some of the traffic is crazy in that they overtake in dangerous places and manners. Soon Jane could drive there but some trucks and buses really bully smaller and inexperienced drivers. It happens in the UK too! God bless you 😊

She said they tasted bitter! It’s an unusual taste if you haven’t tried them before but for us they are sweet and perfect with desserts or scones. Just need to find how to make scones! Have a great day my good friend 😊

The learner car door? You do know about privacy and you don’t go opening doors to cars that aren’t yours. Sorry to sound harsh but there is a time and place for everything. During a driving lesson isn’t the place.

@@AdamandJanesLifestyle No Adam, I was referring to when you left the restaurant. You went straight to the driver's side of the car and got in. I used to open the car door for my Filipina wife of 27 years. But sadly I've gotten lazy over the years. I guess chivalry is dead here at my house too.😔
