We're on the hunt for dry land thats ready to be planted without causing too much soil compaction. In the meantime we have a tire to replace on the rock picker. 99 problems and the planter is most of them.
A PARTY LIKE NO OTHER! Join us July 1st, 2022 in Alexandria, MN to Celebrate 1 Million Subscribers (hopefully), enjoy some great music and contribute to a great cause! We're teaming up with Anderson Bash to kick off our Grain Bin Safety Campaign again! Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Zach when your Son or anyone is backing up to a trailer, if you adopted the “right hand down” or “left hand down” call out to the driver I’ll bet youd, find it easier when at the back of a truck or tractor guiding them. The driver is looking through a mirror while your saying go this way or that way which they see as opposite via mirror or don’t understand which way to go and have to do a mental conversion on the spot, it makes it much easier. Try it

Know that is easy to say but hopefully the days you need for field work and planting are not too far away. Same situation here in central Iowa. Must admit with flat tires and all the other breakdowns, you have had more than your share. Better days around the bend!!!!!!! Appreciate your dad’s patience with things. Believe that helps you also Zach. Love seeing the dogs ride with you in the four by four. Somebody to talk to at least. Hopefully the next video will see the planter running. You both take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything Zach. The Iowa farm boy. Steve. Good luck at the races this weekend.
