Dinner was at 11:00, supper was at 5:30. We never deviated from that except harvest. Now I stop at noon and come back to the house at noon, but dinner is when I get in the house. Just finishing soybeans, so the other night it was 10:45. My wife hates summer because supper is never before 9 or 9:30. Winter is after cattle chores so about 6:00.

That's what my central Minnesotan Grandmother would call "...a bit of lunch", the main meal of the day. Dinner vs. Lunch, and Supper vs. Dinner is very regional My Dad grew-up less than 100-miles from Chet and Dougo in the 1930s and 40s, yet it's Lunch and Dinner in our family. "Supper" was a social event at the Church or the Legion Hall.

When a farmer tries to tell city folks about eating on the farm in the spring threw fall, eating five times a day ending with Supper 🍽 . They generally ask what's Supper ? Tell them breakfast, lunch, dinner, lunch , Than Supper ,and something for dessert 🍨😋

Never knew you could seed soybeans with a Terragator. Though one of my neighbors puts corn down with a modified seed drill...and an open station John Deere 4020.
@joescheller66804 жыл бұрын
plant my wildlife patches with a seed drill all the time just block off openers in box to what ever row spacing i want just isnt spaced precisly but deer and antelope deer and pheasants could care less it could be used for beans as well very light would float right over that stuff
