Comme d’habitude… tes images sont sublimes… tes plans films très « léchés », subtils… les cadrages magnifiques… merci beaucoup pour ces moments de partage à l’autre bout du monde ! 🖤

At 3:35 behind you on the horizon there was a lone tree. Perhaps lone tree images are a cliché. But certainly worth investigating. There was also a tower like structure. I like that image of your motorcycle a lot. That joy you felt when you laughed initially in the video certainly conveyed a great feeling in me Paul. Hope you and your family are well and good. It will take your book some time to reach my shores due to the distance.

Once again a nice series from the hinterland. For me the tractor image was a standout. Reminded me of my younger years working on dairy farms and ramming posts with an old tractor just like that one. Love the sound track as well, who might the musician be? Gotta say I'm really starting to re-appreciate the larger image format, I had forgotten how good it looks especially for B&W photography, and yet its what we always used for our wedding photo work. Funny how you forget stuff as the years go by.

The day before I was up there and got a beautiful digital image of the tractor, unfortunately the day I went back to film the vlog, the fencer had moved the tractor, so the shots were not as grand.

Howdy Paul! Beautiful work as always! Did you need to compensate your exposures at all to allow for the age of the film?

Weird. Really, really weird. I mean, that roll of film is produced just a few kilometres from my home, some 12-13 years ago. You where lucky, that's perhaps from the last batch. Course that factory (Fotokemika) is closed for good in 2012. The advent of digital photography didn't kill it. But iPhone certainly did. I learned photography back in the day on their products. Film stock was OK, chemistry not so much, but their photographic paper was great. If used in other chemicals (I've used Ilford or Tetenal anytime possible) the results where phenomenal. By the way, that particular film never liked Rodinal from my experience - I've got much better results in Kodak's D-76...

Interesting I was going to include some images of the old factory.
