Love your excitement! They definitely got the same reaction out of me when I got mine :) And like you, I kept thinking about them since like 2013 or something like that and finally got a pair in 2019. Nothing quite like that feeling!!! Skate your heart out!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I am kind of an artistic rollerblader as well, I am sharing your beginner problems (aka falling over the stopper) and it’s so nice to see your progress ... gives me high hopes! 😄 I got the exact same setup as you two days ago. I “only” waited six months since with the virus Europe has been out of stock for a long time! With a lot of rain going on in my region, I am right now mostly confined to the living room. Luckily, they are extremely manoeuvrable. Can’t wait for the sun to come out again though ...!

You can adjust this toe stop a bit, it really helps in spins when it's a bit higher :)

I really want to get into artistic rollerblading, want to pick up my first pair of inlines would you recommend I save up for inlines like these or just get regular ones? What moves were harder on your normal inlines?

Alpaka it's so worth it! Definitely an adjustment from regular skates and it's going to take a long time for me to learn but I'm so excited 😊

Did using the hairdryer work for you? I have those exact edeas, and they hurt. I have to constantly go get them punched out. I'm too lazy to drive an hour every time I need an adjustment. 😅

I'm a rollerblader, learning to skate on quads, but I wanted to try these! Had no idea where to purchase these either! The skate shops here don't sell them. Where did you order yours from? Are those Jackson Boots? What size skate did you get? Do you feel like you did your measurements properly? Thank you for hint about changing your balance to the middle of the boot (that is what I had to realize for the quad skates vs rollerblades

So I had the same problem because inline figure skating isn't really a known sport in the US. But I did a lot of research and ended up going with a pair from inlinefigure.com . They have measuring guides so I used a tape measure and put in my length/width and they did the rest. The boots are Edea Overture, they fit well but are a bit stiff for my liking(maybe I just need to adjust to that). Other sites also sell snow whites, like discountskatewear and sk8gear. I'd recommend researching a lot and making sure you know what you want and what your size is(many sites have different sizes and usually your shoe foot size doesn't match what you actually need!). Did you buy smaller size than your shoe size or greater? :/

@@mariannalygkopoulou9937 I have Pic frames with Risport figure skating boots. My shoe size is 39. These boots and my ice skating boots are 39. They might feel a bit tight at first, but they are the correct size as they need to fit snugly. Wear thin socks.

@@mariannalygkopoulou9937 it depends on the website and also brand of skates. For me, I measured the exact length, width, and height of my feet and put in those details and they found the right boots for me, so I didn't have to guess and choose a size.

I am a 7 women’s and a 5 boys in Jackson Ultima, get your foot sized to a real skate for reference as most of these brands just plant it on the boot

I was looking at a few companies but ended up going with inlinefigure.com . You need to be very exact in knowing your measurements and what you want because I don't think they do refunds. Many other sites sell them too though, like shopsk8gear.com and discountskatewear.com . I recommend browsing around for awhile before purchasing. Hope this helps 💞
