I’m up VERY early to be at work by five a.m. and I turn this lunatic on while I’m having breakfast….I can barely see he makes me laugh so hard. A great way to start the day. The British just have a particular sense of humor that I love.

Alan Carr needs to do another chat show, nothing like Chatty Man on Canadian TV.

Channel 4 axed chatty man.

@@deborahcabot3100 Channel 4 deemed it a flop because Graham Norton gets higher ratings. It still got decent ratings so silly decision imo

Starting with Headline in the Guardian from Australia Six of the 10 unprovoked shark attack deaths last year were in Australia. International report attributes spike in deaths in Australia to ‘chance’, saying the country’s 18 unprovoked attacks in 2020 was only slightly above average. - WHO THE F PROVOKES A SHARK?

I tried to talk to my cousin about Alan. He had no idea who he was....I'm only 16 and he makes me feel ancient. One things for sure though, he's missing out.

He's great. I'm really proud of him. I first saw him when he was the warm up guy for Jonathan Ross back in 2003 - he zeroed straight in on my very straight looking gay mate sat next to me a few rows from the front. Hilarious he was. My poor mate was cringing 😆. I also used to love the radio show he did a few years back. An utterly hysterical two hours every Saturday - followed by Lisa Tarbuck (groan). Graham is currently king but next in line is Alan for sure!

@@LornaJane16 I always enjoy his radio programs, it's how I came to start watching his comedy. I loved Terry Wogan, Graham Norton, and Lisa, actually, too. Johnny Walker as well. I miss when we didn't have so much of people like Steve Right, Jeremy Vine, the like, you know? Things were more interesting.
@LornaJane164 жыл бұрын
@@RosseRue Wow! Sounds like you've got cool folks - like I had when I was young (sobs). I used to listen to Johnny Walker actually in the 70s (when I was mid-teens), before he went off to the States. So listening to his Sunday show is pretty nostalgic for me. Loved Terry too. Steve Wright - he's been around for centuries -- and it shows 😂. As for Vine et al yeah, I totally agree.

There's some of us, if we had kids together, we'd either have a supermodel, or someone lookin' for a bell tower. Alan and me are that power couple. Meanwhile, my nastiest brother-in-law, his middle names are "Alan," and, "Carr." His entire family, nine kids, were all legal bastards, not given their dad's surname, Carr.
