Divium is well know and hated in the LA RUS community because he is a know troll that will overexgarrate and straight up lie in his videos. The one Asmond watched is a perfect example of that. No, it doesn't take you 3 years to upgrade all your gear, no, T3 doesn't require +25 (even in Korea almost no one tries to go for that). There's literally a guide, right now, that shows you how to get to T3, 1300ilvl in a week without paying a single cent. Divium is full of sh*t and it is really sad to see him getting so much attention and even praise for basically spreading misinformation.

Fun fact, DFO is dead in Korea because Super Admin was ruining the economy and giving out amps like crazy. Maplestory1 suffered a similar fate, but it was more of a leak about the shady shit that happens invisibly within the game. Lost Ark has been a haven for the dying communities of other games. Good timing was probably essential.

Then one fine day the devs came out and said "hey guy we fixed the flames reroll mechanics and all stats rerolls have equal RNG weightage now!" and obviously the community wasn't exactly very happy, especially those who spent close to 6 figures over the course of the entire game's existence. They then tried to have a community panel made up of "grassroot players" but then even more shady shit went on about it. Essentially there was a lot of "1 step forward, 5 steps back" going on after that, as compared to the usual "1 inch forward, 5 miles back"

This includes cubes and enhancing, as well as inner ability etc. The biggest offender was the latest power creep known as Flames/Honor which was very obfuscated in how it work as well as very frustrating because of it. Long story short, Nexon stated "The Existence of a certain stat does not decide the probability of any other stat." This was back in 2019. After new laws were passed in 2020-2021, Nexon revealed that it was all a lie. This led physical protest outside of Nexon offices, which are actually in Tokyo Japan. Needless to say KMS player were pissed, pissed enough to spend thousands of dollars to make a point. Interestingly enough Nexon going after Spadow legally was probably the tipping point overall as that pissed off many people from GMS. There is even a rumor that it was these mishandlings of their own IP's that got their relationship with SquareEnix severed. The end result is that Nexon lashed out at their most dedicated fans and a number of developer teams got axed, even though we know the fault rests with upper management.

@@tobias1438 Technically League wasn't always exclusively cosmetics. They used to have the old rune pages. You were incentivized to pay for multiple rune pages if you played more than one role/character, since you only had 2 to start with. And then buying the higher tier runes could be done with cash. So you could literally be just starting out in ranked, buy entire pages of the highest tier runes for your character, and have a massive advantage over the free to play people that had to grind matches for hours to fill one page. The game got itself started with paid power things like that before shifting that stuff out and has a strong enough playerbase to keep cosmetics fueling it alone now.

Can you reach X point in 1 Day by paying, Yes Can you reach X point in content Day 1, No In 1 day and Day 1 are two different things. I personally don't care if someone mega whales once I've done the content. To be able to do what the dude in the video is talking about, content has to have been out long enough for people to gear naturally through progression and have spare materials that they are prepared to sell on the in game market. Although the secret shop exists you cannot use that to progress this much in 1 day, this is entirely dependent on the player market/auction house Whales cannot whale like this day 1, they have to wait until content is dated enough and materials from other players are available in the player economy. Additional side note, you can look forward to making some gold as a F2P if you keep up with content patches as you’ll be the supply for the whale demand

I don't know if that person played Brelshaza on a Korean server, but there's a trap over there. When the region commander raid, not only the item level, but also the engraving and jewelry levels, but only that part was missing. In addition, the race must consist of at least 4 to 8 people, but such equipment does not actually accept it because it cannot withstand the race. Items must be upgraded as compensation for region commander raid, and these items are limited in quantity per week and are tied to characters, so it is impossible to reach the item level in one day, and the main purpose is to open the content. "You have to be at the item level to withstand the grade." That item level does not mean you can clear it. I have seen Korean streamer's reach to 1,400 ~ 1,500 with out any money in it. I have seen many user start level 1 to item level 1,480. And Fun fact that You do not need to upgrade you item to Maximum, You upgrade your gear enough and raid the region commander raid, and get there item to Evolve your gear for the region commander's set item, then upgrade it again. And there is another trap on that. There is not enough item to buy with... Yes, you can cash alot of money and buy things. But somebody must sell the item so you can buy it. Right now there is nothing to buy to go right on. There is no market formed at this point. and also there limit what you can cash on. at least amazon following smilegate's way of pay methood. And what is the point if you are at maximum item level. where no one is ready and no one will inculdes you. Lost ark Level seem's to be base on Item level. But the fact is there are so many why to boost your attacking power. The card, jewelry, engraving, your stats, your skill point etc... Just Maximum your Item level means not that much. Maximum Item level is not the top rank attacker. I do not know how amazon will do about pay methood at all. But still I will lost ark will do good. Because the company that give's up on 17% of income is not easy. Direter that Apologize there mistake and trying to fix them and they really did fix them maybe not all of them at least lot of the isue was fixed. Losk ark is p2w and it is also free to play. There is no wall saying that you need to spend cash if you want to go on it just needs your time to play on. So that is my thoughts on Lost ark from Korea. Sorry, about my English is not good enough. tbh the guy in the vid is a lot more negative about this than he has reason to. You'd have to be a millionare to get the gear just through buying it, and you'd essentially just skip the whole game, leaving you nothing to do. And the extremely long time to upgrade your gear to max is by design, so you always have some goal to go towards, rather than just stagnate. No sane person actually expects anyone to upgrade gear to +25. +15 is usually regarded as endgame.

On the point of Lost Ark getting good publicity, it's getting streamer backup and it appear at a perfect time with say ppl just finishing EW (in the case of the ffxiv playerbase); a lot of my FC friends are trying out the game as something to do on the side. I personally tried it out because I wanted to play something else as well but also because Savix and Rich were trying it out, which gave me a push to check it out. Marketing is definitely not a problem for Lost Ark.

Yes, a lot of people are playing it now. A lot of people played New World on release. A lot of people play any well marketed game on release. The question is will it last? There are so many KMMO that get ported to NA/EU and die within half a year. Sure they may keep a decent sized dedicated player base, but its rare for them to stay as a major player like say XIV/WoW/GW2/OSRS/ESO. Like who is still talking Bless/Black Desert/Blade&Soul/Archeage? Is it possible for it to maintain a playerbase? Sure, I'd just be incredibly surprised if it was above average.

Raids are designed for +15-20 which u do every tier of gearing anyway not difficult. you could later when the market is older and has mats in it swipe up your item level for a isane amount, but you will be 80% weaker then other players at that item level since u have no skill point potions / card sets from collectable's. Item level only gets you in the door in lost ark, u cant even buy runs for the last 2 raids. Even after all of this the ultimate versions of raids are also 100% equalized like the pvp none of your gear matters.

Many dont realize LA has many similar features ro Maple Story 2. From gear grinding to weekly bosses that can only be done certain times that you need to grind on your alts. And guess what, as hype as MS 2 was, it died within 6 months of release when it is still alive in Korea. I will give LA like 2 years atmost. Not to mention Elden Ring coming out later this month

I mean, this was an amusing video and he does make some decent points... but the biggest thing he's glossing over is that there is absolutely no reason to upgrade your gear to +25. It is a massive waste of time, particularly considering ranked PVP and hell mode raids are both normalized. So the hardest content in the game your item level doesn't matter and frankly going above +20 is pointless because at that point you can already easily clear any content. The mats also scale exponentially, so the vast majority of the mats required are at the top end where only the most sweaty hardcore players would even care. He's also completely ignoring the fact you can farm gold with alts and use that gold to buy upgrade mats from both the market and Mari's shop by buying crystals with gold. Both ramp up the amount of upgrade mats you can farm per week exponentially, especially if you have your alts in T3 and are getting thousands of gold per week by maxing out abyss dungeons. He also doesn't mention that gearing alts once you reach new tiers is significantly easier because you can research a skill in your stronghold that boosts alt honing by 20% up to +15 which is what you need to move to the next tier. So getting alts to T2 and T3 gets faster, so the total number of weeks is grossly overestimated even for a completely F2P player. Will it take a long time? Yeah, of course... it's a Korean MMO.

@@DieKao No, you're missing the point. There are already dozens of people quoting on Reddit about how it takes 132 days to get to T3 endgame as F2P based on incomplete information. I mean sure, if you ONLY log in and do chaos dungeons, guardian raids and abyss dungeons it's going to take you forever. But there are both T1 and T2 islands (and I'm assuming T3), there are cube runs, and there are multiple ways to make gold besides just alts. Pretending like the "routine" ways to earn upgrade mats are the ONLY way and calculating some absurdly long time based on that is ignorant and misleading. Even if you only play one character you can farm accessories and sell them on the AH and turn that gold into upgrade mats. There are people ALREADY pushing near to T3 as free to play in the west after a single week. So claiming it takes 132 weeks is dumb, there is no reason to go to +25 when you don't need it to clear content, hell modes are normalized, and T4 will eventually come out and negate all those upgrades the same way T3 did for T2 and T2 did for T1.

It was actually 3 years to max upgrade your gears. And overtime they provided buffs in the gain that we somehow cut that into what you see now. . i have played multiple Korean Online games like CrossFire, DFO, Blade and Soul, etc, and no matter what genre they belong to, they are fundamentally P2W games. Western gamers were used to pay to play games so when a F2P game with some features comparable to 3A games, people will try it. If the publisher is willing to burn money on advertisement then it will hit the top of hype list for sure. However, if a player really wants to get hardcore and dive into the end game of these Korean MMOs, they will have no life eventually. DFO had its core around ONLY endgame raids now, are you need to do is create new character, max level in 3 days and grind gears for raids for another 6months. During the repetitive grind you will have to deal with the meaningless RNG over and over. CrossFire had all kinds of "roulettes" and upgrades for the weapons to make them shoot like laser, it's more like an RPG instead of an FPS. Blade&Soul was one of the most hyped game back when it was annouced, but it could not escape the grind&upgrade life cycle and it is dead too. If you take a look at other Korean MMOs on steam (TERA, Black Desert) you will notice that they all face similar situations in NA, very few people would be keeping playing them years after years.

By doing what the guy said: Can you enter the dungeons or raids? YES, you can because you have enough gear scores to enter by the system. Can you clear? NO, because you are too weak lacking skill points and other grinding factors at day 1. The video does give quite a bit of misinformation for shock value. There are loads of limitations that prevent you from just booming through the end of the game. From the lack of people selling their rewards, timers on shop refreshes, quantity limitations/day or week on items you can buy from the cash shop, not needing +25 gear, etc. Being stuck in lower level dungeons and raids means you can train yourself more into avoiding and working around mechanics. If you think you can take on Brelshaza/Abrelshud without the training you get from being beaten up by the lower Abyss Dungeons/Raids, you are gravely mistaken. You can have +25 gear all you want. If she pushes you off, that gear means nothing. You missed a mechanic? Wipe. There is no forgiveness in there. You can't be carried. So instead of going P2W, how about going on a journey to learn how to beat that beautiful bitch of a boss. :)

Peoples are not bots tho, i don't know what's all these things around abyss but if you already played any mmo at a decent level, it honestly might be the easiest thing around i do find Guardians way harder since before T3 you basically want to save as much nades & pots as possible bc as you said, there a no economy nor fortress progress making you able to run safely with them, im only at early T2 rn and abyss is just "understand the basic mymic strats and nuke" it doesn't prepare you to nothing, majority of the bosses deals close to 0 dmg out of their special moves, i do insist on the fact that if you got the gear and decent upgrades, late to super end game is just basic strat content and from what i've seen, there's much of a paywall due to the scaling, being able to cash maxing allows you to completly avoid things just having to focus on basic execution, what makes the difficulty really hard on an mmo basis like WoW & FF at really high level is the fact that you don't have to rely on yourself but on 10 to 20 peoples all being locked up at the same progress making things impossible to do before reaching a certain cap and hardly doable at max optimisation because that 1 guy or another who's fucking up a single thing on a 30min fight wipes the entire thing, here you can raid up to 8 peeps at max, having almost no dps+hps check and no tanking does makes things way easier by definition. I don't say that the game is bad and im honestly going to be way more focused on pvp anyway, i love LA played a bit less than a year on RU, always been F2P aside of cosmetics & Aura mainly for bifrost, but there is honestly a real problem with cash progression and it doesn't fit the NA nor EU PC mentality, it works on Genshin mainly because of the timing, the mobile part and the gacha addicts but on an mmo while it doesn't affect your own gameplay, its still totally human to get mad at someone who just had to bring the card to show things you grinded months for, being rewarded for the time invested and building your indentity is one of the most crucial things in an mmo, thats why GW2 and WoW are still in after all this time at a worldwide pov, a game isn't just about slaying the last boss cause even at a F2P, at the end of the day you'll beat him with "ease" but meanwhile that dude with that big wallet had a bunch of time to remind you that you won't ever get close to him, shit gets even worse when you can't invest much time in the game you might not being able to ever reach the end bosses before another one releases ^ Edit : I never used the P2W word cuz its obviously not (might only be a real P2W in minor activicties like pvp islands), you don't pay to win, being a whale doesn't award you immunity nor super power but it is, indeed a huge P2F and it'll be a problem

If there exists a way to beat the game in 1 day it tends to have the affect of making enough people's hard work feel pointless to the point they either follow the trend of pay to win, burn themselves out on the content and leave, or simply leave to play something else where their time feels more meaningful. Sure it shouldn't matter if other people are paying for it. It's them not you. But it's very similar to Asmongold's argument of how store mounts make hard to get mounts feel less awesome. Sounds like Lost Ark is making free-to-play an unreasonable option and that alone is enough to seal it's doom in the west. i think it's important to remember that there is a reason why PVP is so popular in this game. once you get end game & experience that very long grind of getting mats, PVP is really the thing that is going to actually drive gameplay (since there's really not much else to do at that point). Thankfully, PVP is really well done in this game with constant balances, and it also allows you the chance to practically play every and any class since everyone is placed in arena with nothing but the skills they possess to play. Of course, I don't doubt that LA will experience a huge drop point once everyone gets to that point, because not every person wants to do PVP or enjoys it.

nobody goes to +25, nobody maxes out their character. This isn't WoW where the goal is BiS at every position. That isn't a serious goal for players. The entire point is that you tend to hit a brick wall past +15, which means that nearly everyone eventually ends up at near the same power level within a small gradient. Even if you rush to endgame, by the time everyone else gets there you'll only have achieved a handful of upgrades over them because of that wall. Most people actually just hit the illvl wall and then focus on gems, engravings, etc. There is very little sense in dumping massive amounts of gold into upgrading past a certain point. You don't need it to complete the content. The argument giving in this video is almost entirely irrelevant to the majority of the player base..

PvP, raiding, and dungeons are important, and if you can't compete in PvP because of gearing or if you can't get to the raids or dungeons because you have to grind for a year to achieve the appropriate ilvl, people will get bored and quit. People don't play WoW to do dailies and world quests. They might play because they want to complete the storyline, or they might want to solo old content, or they might want to get pets and mounts, and regardless of what they do they will end up going through whatever content is necessary to get them the current best attainable (for them) gear, and if that is simply too annoying they will stop playing and go do something else.

While yes, the general design setup is that X-fight has different difficulty levels-- what Asmon doesn't seem to understand and realize (since there wasn't a lot of emphasis on this prior to Stormblood) is that higher difficulties in FFXIV are pretty much completely different fights -- with entirely new mechanics, new bosses, new landscapes, everything. For example, Exdeath on Savage becomes Neo-Exdeath and he literally teleports you to outer-space to fight him on some rock. Eden literally summons entire fucking mega-versions of Primals like Titan to fight you, then transforms into Gaia. These are things you don't see AT ALL in Normal versions, and there's dozens of examples of this. The Savage/Extreme versions of _most_ boss fights in FFXIV are so different that it's simply not even the same fight anymore... and even if you do the Normal versions 100 times, you'll have NO IDEA what you're doing when you queue into Savage or Extreme.

As a typical Korean MMO im not surprised though, i tried BDO and played for over 200 hours and the upgrade mechanics just blew it for me and everything you need to do made me overwhelmed, didnt help that the UI was a clusterfuck with 10 menus having 8 sub-menus inside of them either making it feel bloated. From trying Archeage, BDO, Aion and others made me get a bad taste of Korean MMOs and ive always run back to WoW as the sub atleast felt worthy compared to the money you'd have to spend on the others to get anywhere close with your progression. TERA and Archeage was murdered by their own in house issues. TERA - top scale combat in terms of fun, making the grind super engaging and enjoyable. And really fun raids. Got absolutely murdered by the infamous, "We don't have animations for the male brawler" joke. By that point in Fate of Arun, we were well aware of the gender/ELIN locking of the best and new classes. But when it was announced that males weren't getting the Brawler release? And they gave us the excuse, "We have no animations"? The Rifts Edge dungeon was released in the prepatch to FoA and included the NPC Rhodes...who was a fucking MALE BRAWLER. That blatant lie caused a massive exodus wave of NA players dropping the game after we've dealth with the power creep that was Reaper, then Gunner, then Ninja; while classes like Warrior, Slayer, and Zerker all got left in the dust. They didn't realize that having your entire MMO character roster loaded with female toons in the western sphere wasn't fun or good for the games health. Then at the end of the day, the last 'content' update they did was just tripling down on the issues that were killing the game by making Valkyrie for Elves, Casta and Elin females. ArcheAge - XLGames made terrible backstage programming decisions like adding the fucking borked up 'skill que' system after the game was up and running in NA for 3 years. Then made Abyssal Rift, Halcyona and World Bosses instanced; nerfed trade routes into a oblivion to force people to pay more real cash to progress, and just generally fucked over their own game more and more as more people left. It was self sabotage to the Nth degree. And I was a low-rate whale for both games.

The game wont die but it will see a massive drop in popularity in 1-2 months. It's just how people play games nowadays. People aren't dedicated like they used to be. Gamers habits have changed vastly and nowadays people just move between games at rapid rates during releases looking for the next dopamine spike. I'm not sure when this started but I noticed it when Fortnite was the new big thing and everyone played it. While the game is far from dead, it's far from what it used to be. Ever since I've noticed how every big release just has a massive spike in players, followed by an enormous drop. Either because new titles releases or simply because people get bored way faster than before. It probably also has alot to do with the evolution of gamers in general. People are so much better at games today than they were in the past when everyone was a massive noob. Due to the efficiency todays gamers and just general, higher skill level, people simply finish or are done with new games faster than before. Unless the game has some crazy skill ceiling and relevant competetive scene like Dota, SSBM, Counter Strike, LoL, Wow or Fortnite et.c. the game wont captivate long term players who fall in love with and dedicate their lives to the game. Normal people however, who don't want to or have time to invest the required time to be crazy good at these type of games will just jump around from new title to new title.

I honestly don't know why people are falling over themselves about this game. I liked elements during leveling to 50 and playing a bit of endgame, but overall I think it's pretty lacklustre, and that's being generous. - The world is just a long corridor with quests that consist of relaying conversations between people less than a metre away from each other. - The roles aren't immersive or impactful enough. I fancied playing a supporting role so I picked Bard; but I just feel interchangeable with anyone else, everyone is good at everything almost and it just ruins my feeling of utility or placement. Everyone is just DPS? As - The story is laughable, extremely mundane, and unfortunately due to the linear design of this 'MMO', unavoidable. The dialogue (yes far from our western traditions) feels like a pantomime, and eye rollingly silly. I would be surprised if anyone can name more than 5 characters and 5 locations. - The theme and fantasy of the world are more subjective, but I am not a fan, some areas I like the art - such as the pirates and the knights. However, overly sexualised (I know it’s a fantasy game) unnecessary characters and roles that are gender locked really takes it’s toll with immersion and It’s tough to take it seriously. - It doesn't feel like an MMO, the world is sliced into hundreds of channel phasing. There is 0 COMMUNITY INTERACTION - dungeons can be soloed - and even when matchmaking no one cares - everyone just mashes and zugs through it. The only indication of online players in this game other than the racist chat in the bottom left, are the pets and mounts you see now and then. - Obvious P2W in the store, awful stronghold Facebook games - Tacky UI feels like a mobile game. Log on to receive your reward for receiving your reward + Very cool scenarios and set pieces in certain moments and raids. +/- PvP is fair and with a comp could see an advantage (role wise) but what takes away any sort of incentive to play is the fact it’s 1:1 equal regardless of gear. I like to farm pvp, rank through pvp. In WoW even though it’s scaled to an extent, people with better gear and skill would make a difference, you could make trinkets which would give you little boosts in pace or attack speed. It gave an obvious edge to the people engaged in PvP - people who would invest in gearing up, and progressing with engineering skill. In LA I just feel - why? If it’s all 1:1 skill for skill, what’s the point. It’s MMO not an E sports game, there has to be progression. It will be skill based, but if it’s 1:1 which I think it is, although I may be wrong(pls correct me) I don’t see an incentive to bother. Furthermore, I am not up to date with potential updates with the game, but if pvp doesn’t surpass arena style combat and numbers- I just don’t find it too intriguing. Overall, that alone doesn't give me enough purpose to bother playing. I'm normally one who loves to dive into lore, read quests and make my own adventures along the way, but I'm just being moved across a conveyor belt of mediocre dopamine just spamming G. It's like a box of crackers - 0 flavor and a lot of it.

Well, it has good things, the pvp requires skill and that is not pw2 because everyone is maxed out. The spamming G well that is only if you don't like the story, I never read it nor here or in other mmos but the leveling is easier/more fun than wow for example, wow and ff14 are much slower in the leveling phase and you run a lot.

RU has a catch up mechanic because it has Argos, Valtan, Via Kiss, Kou ku Saton & Abrelshud. We don’t have any of those. We don’t have anything to catch up to. There is no predatory mobile game mechanics going on, the game has always been like this. How do i know this? I played in RU for 2 years when it was Lost Ark 1.0 to 2.0. You should comeback when the game is a year old, They will have that catch up mechanic that you want. I personally don't like Lost Ark because of the gathering and crafting. You can only gather for like 30 min until your energy runs out, and it takes 55+ hours for that energy to completely refill. That's some next level BS, and ultimately led me to quitting remarkably early into the game. Time gated by a factor of how much you are willing to pay is a big nope from me. PoE is a good example of a game that does a lot of cash shop stuff but doesn't time gate you on how quick you can progress through the game content, they don't demand a wheelbarrow of cash if you'd like to progress quickly. If you're good at the game, you can go fast, if you're not, it'll take you longer, no amount of money changes that, and it's good. Lost Ark sounds like they're the exact opposite of that. I've done the 'death by dailies' nonsense countless times before and have collected all manner of little gem/token/coin things for incremental 'progress' in content that is really just repeating the same exact quest for the same dude over and over each day for months, and I'm permanently done with that noise. It's extremely lazy content, basically 5 minutes of content that demands someone plays it for months to 'complete' it. No thanks.

U do not need to +25 gear, raids are based on having +15-20, you can fuck around and try for +25's inbetween raid release but its just a flex and not mandatory what so ever. Also yes in many months from know when there is mats on the market u could swipe up item level but you will still be weak with out doing the collectable's and getting the skill point potions and card sets which are a 80% boost in damage. Item level only gets you in the door in LA, u cant even buy runs for the last 2 raids in KR lol

I have over 30+ characters in DFO, all maxed out, in terms of level, have been playing for years... The reason why DFO isn't comparable, is because 90% of the game isn't even in english, in terms of the voice acting... Back when DFO first released, with Nexon. THEY were the company doing the English voices. You can actually still download this English voiced in a mod, like I have, but many of your character will still be chattering in korean.. So when DFO first closed down under Nexon, there were no more enlgish voice lines to be seen.. When Neople revived the game, they simply translated all the text from the korean version, and didn't even attempt to do english voice overs... I believe this is the main reason why nobody in the U.S. tends to like or even play it.

The part I'm talking about may be due to the difference between the Korean server and the Russian servers. Second, 385 weeks is based on the highest number in the game. No one wants 25 upgrades from you. 25 is also a rare number in Korean servers. In fact, the evaluation of lost arc in Korea has improved since the launch of Commander Baltan. If you wait until Argos and Baltan release and play, you will have a great experience. It is true that the Lost Ark has a p2w element. I have friends who played Lost Ark on both KR and RUS, many aspects of the game which he presented in his original videos are not as misleading as you described. He might exaggerated information in this video for entertainment purpose which can correspond to his "trolling" persona. Furthermore, the original video was released before the Lost Ark release. So much of the provided information are based on the Russian server and not the one which we received from Amazon. Agreed, it does not fully reflect the current state of the game. However, it is always important to have an opposition so we, player, can have a full idea of the game. I stand on the fact, many hype train conductors spread great things about Lost Ark but not many of them actually tell us about the flaws or prepare the players for the true Lost Ark experience. @@Keldiur its not power, its item level requirement enter the content. Item level in lost ark is just how you get in the door. Power comes more from what level your skills are, which u get higher by lvling past 50, farming the collectable skill point potions for your roster and farming the relic gear to upgrade your skill tripod levels, these things are a 70% boost to your damage. Things you cant instantly buy. You will have to +15 your gear even in tier 1-2 content to proceed in the msq lol

Sounds like Nexon. Played Maplestory 2 while it still had a western release and they actively strangled it to death by dragging their feet on major changes waiting for sharp player drop offs to do anything. By the time it even hit the west it had already been rebooted once in the east after massive player drop offs. They didn't just fail to make changes, they weren't even giving the game a chance from the start, because the west team had no resources and had to defer to the home land dev team that could veto any requests. By the end of the west version, the east version was already at the point of recycling story dungeons as raids, and there were no spare dev resources for 2 of the 4 regions. The western release didn't even get the full last real content patch before it was shut down. Hats off to my guild members and everyone else who continued to play despite going months without noticeable progress because their RNG enchants failed, or they chose the wrong resource investment strategy in an unforgiving game that allows no do-overs. Fun game, but no way I'd choose to play it again given the opportunity.

I would have been happy to spend $60 even $80 for microtansactions that were only cosmetic and better more rewarding progression. But why would they do that when people will spend $100 day one and more as time goes on. Ironically, some of the people who spent that much will be the first to leave. I am a person who loves both Wow and Lost Ark. Basically, the structure is different from Wow. Wow has one raid for each period and everyone looks at the same raid, while Lost Ark is distributed throughout the entire raid. And each raid has a shorter period than Wow. It's not a bad experience. In na, Argos Raid and Valtan Raid will come out first, and unless they are done enough, the next raid will not come out. I'm worried that you guys seem to be worried in advance. I also think Lineage is a trash game, and it is unpleasant to treat Lost Ark as Lineage.
