Cool hidden plain sight birdhouse security camera , yea ? If you want a hack to treat you siding use kerosene as It were paint . It takes about 35 hours to dry . This Is the way , painters do FYI .💙💙💙

Very true......I considering milling the trim thicker this time around, but I afraid the siding ends might rot if they are too tight against the trim......or maybe I just convinced myself that's why, lol

Looks good guys ❤ The congregation slab turned out great as well. I am in Ohio so we our getting cold temperatures and even frost. This week will be are last week with the temperature being in the 70. The Almanac is Predicting a very cold and lots of snow. High / low there Jay with your orange spray... LOL. Aha the install of the FRONT DOOR??? Love the Bird Bath so awesome!! That pup sure loves you Jay his whole body wags when he came running up to you how sweet. I miss my Golden Retriever "Harley" he was almost 11 years young when he went home to live with God on 8/4/22. Maybe this Spring we will consider a new Golden Retriever puppy. The house feels so empty without his smile all the time and playing around like a goof ball lol. Jay and JEN you two are doing such an AWESOME Job on the CABIN!!!

Love the live edge siding, it's really looking super! I'm assuming all the siding milled is Poplar? It has a beautiful grain and look. All my cabins are T 111...😂😅 Love what ya'll are doing ❤

so weird to see a tape devoted to all feet and inches in the uk we have imperial (feet and inches)on the left side then metric (metres and millimetres)on the right side.as a old retired building worker that was bought up on measering in imperial found it hard to adapt to metric.but i must admit metric is much easier

Northern Minnesota homesteaders call poplar trees popple which seems weird. ("Popple" is a dialectal term for the tree genus Populus, which is more commonly known as "poplar". They are in the middle of a larger log home built from "popple" trees I believe he said. They are also about to build a little cabin on a remote piece of land they bought.
