Seeing all these fans just 5 years ago to today is crazy

And John Fisher says they have no fans. Only an incompetent owner can ruin the legacy of a team with 9 World Series titles.

My goodness this was a great time great vibes great atmosphere!! Place was electric with stars up and down the lineup. As a owner why would you not want this yearly!!

At the very end someone yelled “Go back to Florida, you suck”. They will, to play in the ALDS. Additionally, there is no poop on the streets in Tampa.... unlike Oakland and San Francisco.

Thinking about this game a lot and how a couple of greedy billionaires, owners and a commissioner decided to abandon an entire fanbase. Heartbroken man. I'm not even from the Bay. But it makes me sick man.

And the fact that oakland couldn't handle the Yankee Stadium atomsphere. (Not even being a douchebag its just the truth? As a yanks fan, watching the 2018 AL wild card game when Judge tattooed that ball in the first i knew that game was over.

We lost, I'm very disappointed in the runs that Sean gave up but maybe it's my fault because I was in line for food when the game started. Should have been in my seat. He's still my favorite pitcher. Speaking of favorite pitchers... I wish I had checked my mailbox before the game. In with the rest of my cards is a Blake Treinen card that was sent for me to forward to you. Hope that sooths the sting a little, I look forward to when I can deliver it. Good video, but it hurts to see you down at the end.

I get it man. I really do get it. I mean, I feel that way too. Like somehow I was responsible for what happened. Like somehow, I could do something about the result. But in reality, what the hell was there to do? I don't know. I don't know. I just... I keep on thinking back to that first inning, you know? Sean gave up a homer, but he struck out like the next two guys right afterwards. He was dominant, had everything right. He was just beat. They were hunting the outside fastball. He didn't figure it out before it was too late. Bottom of the first. Bases loaded, two out. Profar comes up to bat. I mean, he hasn't been good all season, but he's come up big before. He's helped us win games before. I just knew he was going to do something. Had a great at bat. Took good swings, hunted the HIS pitch. I mean, he was even good against Morton. Put a good swing on his pitch, and...just flies out to right field. You know what the difference is between a fly out and a line drive? 40 degrees. I mean, if you put that swing on it, 6 times out of ten, it's a line drive, right? His mistake flew up a bit more than he wanted to. There was nothing he could have done. He didn't hit the ball that hard, but he could have hit it lower, without even thinking about it. I suppose that's what it's about. The wild card. Just baseball. Everything we hate about it, everything that we love about it. I loved that every time Marcus Semien came up to bat, I was happy. I just love to see him play. That's the only thing that's certain about this game. I mean, seeing Jesus Luzardo pitch? That was incredible. There's so many things that we can't control. That's life. That's baseball. I suppose the only thing that we can do it enjoy it all. Life and baseball. The only thing I can choose to do is whether or not to watch this team. After that, I can't even choose whether or not to enjoy them. It's irresistible. I mean, look at them. They're like us. Just like us. A guy who was told he couldn't play shortstop. And he made damn sure to prove them wrong. A guy who was always "defensive third baseman, weak hit tool." Our star, our jaw dropping center fielder, the Lazor? A corner outfielder from Houston. Rule 5 draft pick. Not even a top prospect. Our best hitter? Another rule 5 guy. Rejects, the both of them. Every single one of our starting pitchers, besides Manaea, Fiers, Bailey, Roark, Anderson, I mean, this could easily be their last season playing baseball at all. We're a house of rejects, and you know what feels good about it? It doesn't feel like that. It doesn't feel like we're fishing out of the scrap heap for these guys. These are OUR guys. With us, they have a bonafide HOME. And, and I feel like that is what's best about this team. If you can play baseball well, and other teams can't see that, well, welcome to Oakland. This is our team, and this is our city. It's perfect, because it isn't. I'm so happy I can call this my team. Let's go Oakland. Let's show the world next year.

Your just saying that cause you guys lost in a one game playoff, suck it up and move on.
@ExcelGenerations5 жыл бұрын
@@PsyXch0 why? They're going to expand playoffs once the 2 new teams enter the league. Fuck it let's do it now why wait. 1 game is dumb anyways. Waiting for them to change it to a series is painful.
@WiggleBabies5 жыл бұрын
Yeah the Wildcard game doesn't really have any business existing in the MLB. NBA and NHL do it right, 4 series rounds. I hope MLB can get their act together and hurry along with the expansion teams. God knows we want that expanded playoffs lol.
@thetrainwxgeek4 жыл бұрын
ExcelGenerations then they’ll have to cut down the amount of games played and the playoffs will go too far. In my opinion 1 game wild card is almost as intense as game 7 of the World Series. I like it.
