Honestly the winner mog was trash. It only won cause the char looks badass with the blue eyes and blue tats on black fur. But the mog itself was incredibly mismatched. The Zandalar questing pieces do not fit well with the HM tauren heritage in color or style. It was surprising to me that Asmon let this slide when he was so nitpicky about the slightest mismatches in other mogs.

Even if the colors were different it would not match any better because the Zandalari stuff is Aztec/Mayan inspired metal while the HM tauren stuff is native american inspired leather/fabric/wood. It's just completely different styles. And don't get me started on the weapons. The only reason the mount makes it better is because you don't notice so much of the mog waist down and the weapons are sheathed. Low effort trash mog. The char customization + mount carries it 100%

I’d really like to see some more formatting to these competitions. Set a theme for the competition? More duos and possibly 3’s 4’s and 5’s? While I appreciate the free-for-all on occasion I think it invites a lot of troll and low effort contenders. Give the boys something to work toward and maybe NA will actually show up instead of bringing more firelands sets.

Asmond was so wrong with the Vannoth one that mount matched perfectly It was a skeleton dragon which matched the scull and bones of his transmog. On top of that the colors matched both the mount and the transmog had silver metal throughout. The overall color theme was red silver and orange. Clearly Asmond just doesn't like that mount cus its common.

I think Ksarg (the guy left next to 1st place) wasn't actually that bad. The glowy mist fit together, the animal mask fit reasonably well, the multiple-layered plates with the back-side of the wolf fit well, same with the spikes on shoulders with some of the spikes on wolf. colour-wise it was overall a nice fit also. Weapons were meh though. Imo much better than his suggestion on 2nd place, which was jarring in terms of low res gloves and mount. Not to mention that his first suggestion for 5th place was bad. The Witch doctor is 10/10 theme-wise, each and every item fits into a witch doctor set, but in a different way, so they don't fit each other. Also would've looked much cooler on maybe a female troll. I'd have placed it as honorable mentions or 5th. The shadowmoon akolyte on undead horse would've been wicked in a duo transmount comp, if he switched to a matching high res wolf mount, with his partner being a forsaken on the mount he used here, and with a set imitating WCII death knights => shadow council member before and after being raised as DK theme. Also somewhere like 80% through the thing he said :"This isn't the worst we've had yet, we've had worse." => title: worst ever :D
