I think the biggest problem is that the transmog competitions are almost always solo. The NA duo transmog was great as well, I think duo transmog is just far superior overall. There's not much of a story you can tell with solo transmog, which is why it's inferior.

Realistically there is so much history in europe and medievil shit to look at and absord. Or come here north and all of the folklore tales like Kalevala that was major influence for Lord of the Rings. People brought up more in the presence of the old buildings and hearing the histories and getting the feel for them. And all of that is really like the perfect fit for this game. Like from some Roman, viking, old school spanish soldier look or whatever themed costume works great. Like even nazis were wearibg Hugo Boss. Also people generally dress up pretty well in most countries just to go to the store which shocks Us people coming into Europe so I think it might be just that how you dress is considered a bit more in general.

Asmon needs to lay off the vanilla gear and picking on the "pixel count" - a lot of vanilla gear looks nice and when you need a certain colour theme you have to use some of the old stuff. That Night Elf had a nice dark set, wasn't amazing - but wasn't trash

He only does it when it's compared to other aspects of the mog. So one person with low pixel count looks bad in contrast with a high res partner. He does the same in transmount where if you are using older sets with new mounts the contrast hurts the set. He only points it out if it isn't consistent.
