I think you had a blast in Austria!!! This was a really nice drive, and the castle at the end made me smile. Maybe some day as a quirky video, maybe you could tour a castle somewhere and tape it for us??? I know there's a lot of castles that will let you videotape them if you ask nicely. This way we will know you did more things than just drive all the highways and byways of the country you were visiting. Just a suggestion, not an order. Could be a historic house, anything like that would be nice. Give you something to think about anyways. Love this, and hugs from a frozen polar bear in Canada.

Hi, believe it or not, in the city where my mother was raised there's a castle where you can actually drive through! It's something I would love to show here but I never find the time, and I don't travel there often anymore.

S37 reminds me of S4 in the east of the country, build mid 80s with a similar standard. There are plans to upgrade it too, and build a phisycal separation between the 2 directions. Drove also on S37, but many years ago (I think it was 2006), so it was very nice to see it again, didn't remember too much from that drive back then.

Great video! I noticed there is only 4 motorway service areas in Ireland (2 on M1, 1 on M4, and 1 on M11). That is way insufficient service area than in the UK counterpart. What's up with it? Why they can't build more?

Hi, there are several reasons for that. First, Ireland built its motorway network 40 years later than the UK, so the roads are still quite new and rest areas may be added in the future. Second, traffic levels are much lower since Ireland is more sparsely populated than the UK, so there's less demand for rest areas. And last, distances in Ireland are shorter, so drivers do not generally need to stop for a rest before their destination.
