There’s enough negativity and crap going on in this world and America right now that Christmas makes a little better for a lot of people, so if it makes them happy, why do you even care? It’s not hurting you or anyone else so you people need to stop trying to micromanage everyone else about things that are completely harmless and focus on yourself and paying it forward to make the world a better place and being nice and spreading kindness. Let people live….geez!

I noticed if I don’t decorate my house and we don’t turn the outside lights on, more people skip it. I guess thinking those houses don’t celebrate or partake. So next time I’m going to add more decorations, which I want to do more anyway. Also they don’t seem to go out as late since there doesn’t seem to be as much older kids as there used to be.

I guess the calendar, which has existed since well before you were born, means nothing - to WAY too may people - for WAY too long now. It's actually better that none of your candy was taken. Unless you'd rather let some people (kids) come by taking more than they should. It's best to have someone there to give out the candy.
