the macmyra thing is very weird. i've had 1 cask bottled, and one on the way, in limbo. looking at their financial records there is something wrong. i think they were draining money , for a better word , their costs went up 200% in 2 years, with the same sales volume. I would be happy to chat about it.

Celebrity whisky , I have walked past the Rod Stewart whisky a few times , have you tried it ?

Errr no! Haven’t really bothered looking for reviews either. Would be happy to be proved wrong but just expect it to be pretty anodyne!

@@peterlees7062 no, not one I’ve tried. Tbh I haven’t tried many celebrity offerings. I thought Sam Heughan’s Sassenach was decent if a bit pricy.

@@cantbendknee maybe not. Though most of them are producing such a small amount - they may find it easier to live within their means. I live in hope, if not confidence, that they will all thrive.
