'Man. Revenge is underrated. That felt AWESOME.' I laughed so hard when I first watched this.

11:48 - _"Oh man! Ben Franklin secretly _*_was_*_ a woman!"_ This is a call-back to episode 2, where Stan was criticising Dipper's counterfeiting skills: "You call that Ben Franklin? He looks like a woman!"

I always thought it was a real crazy conspiracy theory, did they invent it for the show or did it really exist beforehand?
@firemosil31545 ай бұрын
Just gotta say this now, yea the 2 polices are in a relationship, but its never mentioned in the show cus disney didnt allowed it, but the creator allready did
@leovk57793 ай бұрын
The creator of the show made sure it was really, really obvious, even if it is never said and they never kiss XD
@DanielPereira-ey9nt23 күн бұрын
I think they would have figured that one out eventually. It's REALLY on the nose

how things have changed. now a days they would advertise it as a lgbt show and try use it to prove they are "allies".

Fun Fact: Alongside historical alterations like an 8th and a half president, humans haven't been on the moon in the Gravity Falls universe!
@leovk57793 ай бұрын
How do you know that? I have watched the whole show several times, and never saw a reference to that! Is it from the additional tales in the books?
@47ratsinahoodie3 ай бұрын
@@leovk5779 I believe in Journal 3, Ford references the moon landing being faked ^^
@KalinTheZola24 күн бұрын
@@leovk5779 I don't know if it came from the show or from some supplemental books or just word of god, but when I looked it up it seems all over the internet as a known fact.

Yeah, the thing Stan is locked in (generally called stocks, although if you want some pedantic trivia, it's called Stocks when you just have a similar wooden setup on your ankles and are free to hobble around, whereas when you have your head and wrists locked into a stationary structure it's called a Pillory) was a real thing. Generally minor criminals would be locked in it in a public place, and part of the punishment was that passersby could throw whatever they wanted at the criminal - usually rotten fruit and filth, but some would get pelted with rocks or hard objects, and some were maimed or killed. It really depended on what the passersby thought of the crime. In 1703, Daniel Defoe was pilloried for three afternoons for writing satire criticizing Anglican zealotry/bigotry, and apparently the general public didn't mind as much as the church did, because they just threw flowers at him. 15:10 it's possible that this is a doctor who reference. The sonic screwdriver does open locks, but it also does a bunch of other things, so comparing it to something that just opens any lock in america is a stretch. However, the one thing the sonic screwdriver doesn't work on is wood, which might explain Trembley's claim that his magic lock opener doesn't work on wood.

That's interesting thanks for the history lesson! And that's cool I didn't know the sonic screwdriver driver had that limitation

Not every triangle is significant. Amd yes Dipper does use the book more. Be patient.😂
@tatyananicolexx98185 ай бұрын
I believe the creator said that the every triangle was a lead up to the “ultimate villain” or the reveal of bill cypher something along those lines
@skywatcher88933 ай бұрын
@@tatyananicolexx9818Actually Bill Cipher was not originally planned as the main villain of the series. They didn’t finally decide that until season 2.

triangles are a very common shape that are useful in architecture, they are everywhere IRL as well.

"Irrational Treasure": "Pioneer Days" in Gravity Falls. It's 1863, and life at this time is very much like real life Frontierland. 12:31 This statement will become "less than silly" sometime in Season 2.
