You just showed up Really interesting. I grew up near Savanah. Life took me to KC, Oregon, Pennsylvania and now Oregon, my home.

If you want to plant root then you may choose a green tropical marsh area which is too silent and free from busy buzzing world. Then start an offgrid living. You may start farming anything, you may have a huge pond, just imagine you write some poem in the middle of that pond on a 10ft boat. And having tea or coffee in a flusk with you. Feel the bliss of tranquil nature. I'm an infp and i have this dream to make this real. In your country it might be a matter of lot of money but cheaper i guess than buying an apartment in big city.

I was the same way with wanting to travel and calling several places home in my 20s. I wonder if is an infp or FiNe thing.... but searching for home, that need to find a sense of place universal I believe. I Call it the 3 Ps... finding a sense of place (home and community), discovering your sense of purpose, and then feeling a sense of peace. I was an environmental outdoor educator in my 20s and bounced between gulf coast florida, new england, and upper peninsula of michigan seasonally for 6 years.... now i came home to midmichigan to take care the family 1860 5th generation farm and a very special 1920 farmhouse .... in the wonderful saginaw bay watershed and great lakes..... and dreaming of getting a sailboat to bounce around great lakes in retirement and live in lighthouses and 1930 ccc built cabins now staff housing at nps and nwrs ❤ Home is where the Heart is ❤

Yes, we have many homes as we go thru life. Sometimes it’s special people I’ve come to know, other times it’s what I’ve come to know about myself in a place. I now feel I can make a home wherever I am.

I never really traveled and I still live with my mom....but I've heard of people doing van life for exemple, moving around for a while in their 20's and then wanting to have a place they can call home when theyr're around 30's. I am surprised you mention new york. someone who used to work for us seemed to like that place quite a bit, though I don't get why since she was an introvert. Aren't big cities with all the noise etc a bit overwhelming?

big cities r absolutely overwhelming! but, for me personally, i feel like they have a lot of inspiration for silently people watching and vibrant activity all around. i think some introverts like to observe the chaos than be directly in it lol
