glad you're doing better. I don't think anyone(or at least very few) likes to work. Though I guess the american mentality is different than us. Where I live it's more like european I think, we 'work to live' and american is maybe more like 'live to work'...I wasn't a big reader when I was younger but I've start to enjoy reading a bit these past few years. I haven't read many classic but so far my favorite would be Crime and Punishment. I've read War and Peace but I didn't really enjoy it, but I can understand why it's a classic.

Wow impressive! War and Peace is one of those I want to read just to say I did but the concept doesn't interest me that much tbh 😂 And yes we gotta change our mentality here I think, just to have a good balance of work and life. We strive so hard for a career and lose focus of the good stuff like friends and self-contentedness
