They say plane crashes rarely happen but I’ve been watching plane crash videos on KZbin for the last year almost every night and still continue to find new plane crash videos.
@mam3622 жыл бұрын
relative to other types of crashes (such as car crashes) they are very rare
@reecerymer24232 жыл бұрын
@@mam362 there are so many flights that happen daily that it makes it look like a plane crashing is rare because the number of crashes compared to how many thousands of flights there are a day makes it look like it almost never happens.

When the Controller tells you that the Glideslope hardware has been pulled for upgrade and maintenance, it's best to believe him.

If I'm on approach and I know there's a hill, and there's limited visibility, I'm f****** going around man. I'm not going to try to put that thing down if I can't see the runway. I know the pilot eventually tried to go around, but he waited too long.

What about the controller who left the other one on his own for all that time? Why aren't they talking about him being partly to blame since there were only two of them?

ATC did nothing wrong based on how they were trained. They aren't supposed to contact the pilots while landing, unless they have urgent emergency type information that they need pass on, as to not distract the pilot while landing. Planes landed in dark rainy weather on a regular basis, so that's not a reason the ATC would abort a landing. The Korean pilot was trained wrongly to use the beacon as a landing reference point. He also allowed himself to be distracted by a non functional Glideslope, that he was told was not in operation. He likely would've crashed regardless of the weather, being they were a few miles short of the runway.

I went in 92. Air travel is way safer now then when I went. 60s through 90s were the worst decades for commercial flight fatalities. The commercial fight fatalities from the past 2 decades combined are less than the 70s.

I have watched many of these programs and seems to me that the producers make a visual reference to the characters in the production to be drinking lots of fluids .just an observation.

why do you show the suffering passengers so much? finish the SCENE within 30 seconds says thes many died. disgusting. and also why do you let the relatives of the passengers talk about Personal Things. we don't care who went on a honeymoon on that plane. be professional. its not a movie.
