You know how you said that VFD was never mentioned? They were mentioned. In the first episode, when Lemony Snicket is taking about how he has tried to find out who started the Baudelaire fire, he States, “The fire department, nor the Volunteer Fire department, could figure out who the started the fire,” the VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT! :)

SPOILERS FOR SEASON TWO!!!!!!!! i know this sound so stupid but...... Beatrice is alive and she faked her death in the party scean Beatrice was at the edge of a balcony and count Olaf was running up to her then we never saw what happened next but i think that he never killed her he took her but she escaped soon after and then faked her death so Olaf wouldn't be on her tail all the time, but she actually went into hiding. she might have ran away to the carnival where she posed as madam Lu Lu, and when she found out that the hostile hospital was burning down she had to go and retrieve the "sugar bowl" that Essme wanted so much because Essme said that Beatrice stole it from her, but Beatrice she must have stashed it in the hostile hospital because people say how hospitals are a safe place to keep things. It sounds crazy but it all fits (kinda)

In the last episode of season two Olaf admits to trying to push her off of a balcony in the VFD hq but she had dragonfly wings on so she could soar away but Olaf though she jumped to her death. The only issue is, this would have had to happen after the fire but then that would also mean that Beatrice is not their mother. Which means their mother did die and possibly means that their father is alive. But it’s also could be quigley. It’s a throw up at this point honestly

Beatrice is the mother of the Baudelaires and she died in the fire with her husband. I pretty I remember the reason she didn’t get together with lemony because he was on the run. Beatrice killed count Olaf’s dad and lemony took the blame so he was on the run so they couldn’t be together

For any one who is having trouble BTBWB mean Before the Baudelaire Children Were Born Beatrice used to be in love with Lemony Snicket..the to Beatrice letters in the beginning of the episode are from Lemony because he misses her..at her opera performance her and Lemony stole the sugar bowl from Esmè.. they were throwing poison darts at each other and Beatrice accidentally hit Count Olaf’s dad. At a VFD hq Olaf pushes Beatrice but she survives because of her costume it had wings..in season two or three count Olaf says something like I didn’t know those wings could fly..Beatrice faked her death got married to Bertrand Baudelaire had 3 children and then died in the fire. The only reason Lemony was solving the Baudelaire children series of unfortunate events because of his love for Beatrice. Also Lemony also faked his death because in season 3 he finds his sister kit Snicket and she says she thought he was dead. Sorry if I spoiled anything for does he haven’t watched it.

In my research I discovered that the second Sean will cover books 5-9 Isabella and Duncan will a big part of the first 6 epidodes and the will leave in a hot air balloon with Hector during the Vile Village.... Season 3 will have books 10-13 and Quigley Quagmire makes his debut in the 12th book.... He will likely be porteyed by the same actor the will play Duncan in Season 2 I'm super excited for the Quagmires. They had my favorite stories through the series.... Also great video

I'm super confused, but here's what I think... You see, Snicket talks about Beatrice a lot!! And usually the episodes start out with a letter for her. Beatrice either way can be the childrens mom.Beatrice faked her death along with the father of the 3 children. I don't think they faked, but escaped the fire. Beatrice was in love with Snicket but, when Snicket took the blame for her and she ran off with the sugar bowl, she found love else where. Which was with the father. Anyone still watching not beyond season 3: please do not read You know how in the episode where they arrive in the Hotel that they are confused about J.S? yea, great! So Justice Strauss said that she was 'Jaqueline Sheska (tell me if I spelled it wrong..). Are you confused who that is? Well, Jacqueline is the name of the secretary of Arthur Poe. You can see in Season1-2 where Poe continuously calls for Jaqueline. In some episodes Jaqueline hides under her seat talking about the Baudelaires, so she is part of VFD because she communicates with Larry (Your Waiter ;) and other members of the VFD, in private. Obviously, Poe does not know she is part. (or so I think?). We don't know her last name, but we know they are both Jaqueline. Do you think they are really the same…or am I just dreaming?

Now that s2 is out, this “theory” is now complicated to believe. **SPOILER ALERT!!!:** So in the Netflix series there was a survivor of the Baudelaire fire, and since in the books Beatrice is the Mother to the Baudelaire children. And through out the series at the beginning of every episode there is someone writing to Beatrice even though she is dead. And it seems the person writing the messages was very close to Beatrice, all most like they were in love. So in conclusion Beatrice is the Mother and the person writing the letters is the Father of the Baudelaire children. So the survivor of the Baudelaire fire was the Baudelaire children's Father. So in season 3 we will most likely see him.

I know this is an old video, but I really love a seires of unfortunate events (I watched it three times and I memorized all of the opening songs:) but English is my second language and in my country they only published the first 5 books, so I never got to read the other books. I want to try to write sort of a fanfic. The fanfic is based on the idea that Lemony and Beatrice had a chiled before she married Bratend, but I think I cant start writing before I read 'the Beatrice letters', because it might have some important information that can help me. I don't want to write anything that can't be true by the story that Daniel wrote, so I really need to know if there's anything you can tell me about that book or the other books which can help me with my theory.
