Much like the “don’t think of a pink elephant” idea, this line brings to light the fact that you cannot control your imagination. Much like how your mind will just create faces in the darkness if you’re scared enough, this program is simply bringing your fear to life.

They would be little channel mascots and would often be seen dressed or designed like popular characters on the network at the time (One paticular one that stands out in my mind was a bunch of them designed like Echo Echo from Ben 10 Alien Force screaming at the screen).

Oh this one is HAUNTING. The concept of your imagination manifesting something into reality is so... deeply terrifying to me likely because I struggle a lot with intrusive thoughts. So often I'll find myself replaying absolute worst case scenarios and any attempts to shake my head and demand I stop thinking about it just does not work. I'm also just.. deeply scared of lost episode 'pastas which feels stupid to say out loud. I've always had a fear of something not being the way its supposed to be, especially in regards to TV and video games. I can't imagine the terror I'd feel if I just wanted to watch SpongeBob and got met with Red Mist instead because I thought about it, and sitting there trying to stop thinking about it as the creepypasta continues to play.

The bumper at 19:15 - 19:19 is a Cartoon Network bumper. That blank looking character is called a "nood." Part of a cartoon network branding era from July 14th, 2008 - May 29th, 2010, the noods were little blank figurine looking characters that are blank by default, but can be designed to look like different cartoon network characters related to the current shows on the network on the time like total drama island, the powerpuff girls, pokemon, chowder, ben 10, and many many more.

I can't really say I enjoyed it all too much. The face takes me right out of it whenever I see it, I've seen it used in so many shitty one-man dev team horror games that it just doesn't faze me anymore. It's also gotten EXTREMELY repetitive... there's either a bumper or end credits of some kind, sp00ky shit starts happening, you see the face and "We'll Be Right Back", and then it goes right to normal as though nothing ever happened. It gets stale after a while, ya know?
