How do you celebrate Christmas on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean? How does a traditional Marquesan Christmas dinner look like? Fish, Coconut, Shark, Turtle?
Be part of how we experienced it on the beautiful, melodious, remote and rugged island of Tahuata belonging to the Southern Marquesas.
Have a peak into a beautifully decorated wooden open air church & marvel at fine craftwork on display for Christmas in form of carved wood, whale and pig bones!

Do Dolphins respond or react to music heard through your hull? Love your videos!

Thanks for another great Video. I have a question about Provisioning in FP... How easy is it to find Butter on the smaller Atolls and Islands? I know it sounds strange, but I eat LOTS of Butter....I can buy Canned Butter (Dösen butter) here in Germany, but it's a French product (Francelia Beurre demi-sel) so I don't know if it would be available in FP or not. It's rather expensive here (about €4.50 for a 250g can). I could probably drive the 40km to Sarreguemines and get it a little cheaper but then I still have to put it in a Crate and Ship it to the US... Naturally, if Butter is readily available (Canned or Refrigrated) in FP then I could get by with fewer Cans... Thanks, Looking foreward to the next episode.Stay safe and Fair Winds.

Generally you'll need to stock up on lots of butter in Panama, especially on the little atolls you must be quite lucky to find some as they only have very little refrigerated products. We did find some canned butter from NZ though, also bigger cans. So that might work and you are also able to afford it. Back in Tahiti it's no problem with all the special butter types ;)

I stopped watching vlogs when they are so far behind in time. It's 90 degree where I am right now and Christmas is not on my mind right now. Why are you so behind?

Because we have sailed thousands of miles in the past year not having any internet connection on the ocean nor on land in many parts ;)
