As you say at the end, it is a shame there's only six episodes left, but once you're done you should watch the retrospective documentary about Father Ted from 2011 called 'Small, Far Away: The World of Father Ted.'

Fun fact: Dougal's actor ad-libbed the "instead of a mouth it's got four a***s" line because he didn't think the original line was funny. He got a standing ovation for it. Can't wait for your reaction to the next episode. It is, without a doubt, one of, if not THE best episodes in the show.

Sound effects records have been around for as long as records have. They were particularly popular with people who had some of the more pricey home stereos, to show off the stereo effects. I had one in the mid 1960's when I was a kid and I played the heck out of it.

There are a lot of sheep in the west of Ireland. I went to Achill Island once (it's connected to the mainland by a short bridge and is just about an island) and the sheep mostly just roam free there and, much like at the King of the Sheep contest, every restaurant had rack of lamb on the menu! At one point driving around the island we stopped and helped a ram free it's horn from a fence. Despite what you may have seen on Instagram, animals freed by humans are thoroughly ungrateful!
