Fascinating, but I'm not impressed with the light sparring techniques. I absolutely love All Okinawan Kenpo Karate having been trained by Sensei Maehara.

Many are dismissing Yamashiro sensei.. to bad you forgot all about your karate and what it is based upon.. respect.. I say.. who introduced who.. and what are they doing.. and what is said prior to the " little spar" .. sheesh.. many of you have no clue about what karate is all about.. shame on you.

not intending to sound like i am bragging, but it is astounding how people in the east have lost the knowledge, discipline and spirit of the art. You can immeaditely tell just by looking at how they bent their backs while in the rider position in fear of being punched. This is a constructive criticism

Not true.. just not showing up in this video.. I think they are demonstrating something else.. I have trained with Yamashiro sensei.. the guy is unstopable.. this is not a representation of what he can do..

where can we see evidence of yamashiro's true skill? he looks too heavy to have good mobility or stamina.

I have been training over 35 years.. teaching for27.. your judgement on his size is foolish.. Of course I will not convince you in a written reply, his movements are so subtle its not funny.. These two are PLAYING>. You really have to do some research on him and if you ever have a chance to meet him do so.. He is a very unassuming man.. and humble.. He is not a show off in any way. It does not show on the tape but his wrists and ankles are 3 times the size of most men and he is SOLID.. like a brick wall.. you cannot move him.. Its to bad that you judge him on a short flick.. He really is worth training with..

ratchadapalazzo you are too serious, just like an animal. Even the blue guy is famous, even he has one kickboxing champion student, it not means he has enough sparring experiences. 菊野克纪 got award because he has more kickboxing sparring experiences, he is stronger than his teacher
