We all make silly mistakes, but the good thing is that no one knows it but us, cause we find a way to make it work anyway. Meanwhile, all of the non-builders that surround us are impressed with our brilliance :-) Your trolly is coming along nicely. I'm very impressed with the 'sled legs' that you built. You are a very clever fella. You always put me in a great mood. Thank you. (and I love that joke :-)
@GrampiesWorkshop3 ай бұрын
How's she goin'? Well gee whiz thanks for the nice comment. I'm glad I put you in a good mood! I thought that joke was pretty neat too. Making those skis was a good idea I think. They are good and solid and should stand up to the abuse of a rough and rocky terrain like I have here at the camp. And one of the best skills any 'maker' can develop is how to hide their mistakes! LOL Take 'er easy!!

Great head way Mike on the Fuel Buddy Cart. 😁 When you were a figurine how to get the axle through, because you missed measured, I was thinking, hammer and chisel is what I’d use. And you did the same thing I was thinking. 👍🏻 I was thinking a handle on the ski end of the Cart and pick up and pull. Your thoughts on that. I’m sure Janet and you will have a great weekend, nice weather. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋🇨🇦
@GrampiesWorkshop3 ай бұрын
How's she goin'? I made some careful measurements for the axle holes Noel and look what happened. Then I tried to make accurate locations for the holes for the skis and that went south too!! It's looking good Mike. Won't be long before you'll be rolling fuel to your machines. I was thinking of the weight of the fuel cans, if some side force is applied before raising the dolly will the skis twist. I guess that is something to test out to whether a crossbar for the skis is needed or not. Have a good one!
@GrampiesWorkshop3 ай бұрын
How's she goin'? You know Paul I was concerned about that, especially when I was going to use some 4 x 4 for the skis, but now that the flat bar is on there is seems pretty sturdy on the side to side movement. It's something I need to be aware of though. Thanks for mentioning it and take 'er easy!!
