A Short Chase of the Union Pacific Permanente/54 Local

Earlier this year, one of the last big pulls from the Permanente Cement Plant before its shut down happened where UP 1488 and 1522 were tasked with bringing a train entirely made up of stored cement cars down the hill from the cement plant and back to Warm Springs. After this, only a few more revenue trains ran before the cement plant had shut down indefinitely. Its return is anticipated, however not confirmed.

@@calpeninsularailfan "abolished" isn't the right term. Yet. The cement plant got shut down because of covid and has yet to return. Thus, no more trains are going up to the plant, as of now. The perm is dormant right now, but not completely gone.

Union Pacific is no longer running the 54 local now they are running the LOA69

Those are 2 different things. The LOA69 is the MOAOA. they will be running the LWS82 through here at night with sd59mxs
