One of the best blogs Ive seen for boating. Love it and love Mallorca though having lived in Alcudia a long time ago, I was disapointed you didn't visit. I also went to a resort in Cala pi which is also a lovely place. Great info, great to see what it's like to see no land or people. I like space so would prefer to do that on a princess MY85 but was impressed a much smaller boat could handle it very well. I now live in the Philippines so if I ever get a boat I would travel around many islands here. Can honestly say you and Nick Brennan are my favorite bloggers for fun, info and actual trips. The sunseeker guy is great also and a close 3rd. Thanks to you and the family, great to see you all enjoying yourselves, take care.

Thank you James and family! Thoroughly enjoyed watching your boating holiday, and agree with other comments to please make more! One small tip from a yachtsman, when mooring I (or the crew) use a boat hook to bring the bow line to the bow cleat, they can be VERY nasty, using the boat hook is almost hands free. Great to see the entire family enjoying the experience 😎 PS. Lots of giggles at all the 'support and production staff' names, awesome 😂

Love your videos. However nothing I see convinces me I should ever buy my own power boat! I used to charter sailing yachts in the Mediterranean and that was far less money, less complicated and the journey was way slower but so much more rewarding and relaxing. At 20 knots you just want to get there and kill the noise and vibration. Each to his own hey. My advice, Charter first to see if you like it. And if you do, carry on chartering!

Thanks for taking me on holiday James. I really enjoyed that. Very interesting. Great way to take darling wifey and family on holiday, even if they have to work a little but, let’s face it, not much...on a luxury boat in The Balearics. You certainly need to be prepared to spend quite a bit on fuel and berth fees, if moving about. One thing I wasn’t sure about JB, did you hire that boat? - it seemed like it, from the state of some of the gear and the sign that the boys had to bend up out of the way when docking. If so, could we get an idea of the costs associated with that too. And, as a boat expert, can you tell me what that flybridge boat is at 23.31 please? Sunseeker? It’s a beauty!! My kind of boat, that is! Cheers. Best regards from the Giant’s Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland. 😀👍☘️

Good fun to 'join the family vacation' James. And good memories for us, too. We anchored off the Spanish fire fighting flight school at one stop, and they were having family day for the air crews. Took them all out in a boat, then rather than 'bombing' (doing a water drop) as a demo for the family members, the pilot bombed them all instead. Great fun!

I'm just getting into boating but even though I'm very practical I've got some OCD and things 'not working' kind of stresses me out - even if it's just a light bulb, (and there seemed to be lots of things not working on your trip) I appreciate the warts and all viewpoint but maybe an older boat isn't for me.
