Thankyou for showing the cucumber information, I really appreciate it. My plants are smaller than yours atm but hopefully will put on some growth if it ever warms up again! I can only fit one in my small greenhouse but will also try growing outside. Have a good week and thankyou again!

Holy Moly! I am humbled by the tour of the Holy Temple of Tomatoes!! Your harvest will be huge, and the artichokes have produced green-eyed envy in my otherwise angelic heart. I will never match your wisdom or production, but I shall keep trying!

So nice of you Lisa, we have family and friends who we give tomatoes to. As we don't need that many we grow but Diane does freeze passata for winter use. I grow the artichokes for our daughter she loves them. Take care regards from us both.

Good job on the fruit cage garden looks fine after the flood 👍
Rain, rain and more rain here in Michigan too. I just today put my tomatoes in. I think the best crop this year will be potatoes with all the rain. I’ve been meaning to comment for weeks about your salsa music choice this year…pretty peppy and makes me smile every time I hear it. I think gardening must be deeply flowing in our blood Cliff because the struggles have been great so far this growing season. Or we just need to eat good fresh food! Happy growing Cliff and thanks to Diane for sharing you with us. We can certainly learn a lot from your experience!!!:):):)

I remember talking to an old farmer who mostly grew strawberries. In the spring, they would come out into the fields and scatter red painted rocks. The birds would peck at them, thinking they were strawberries. Then get frustrated and leave the field altogether.

All looking very good Cliff/Diane, and I hope your Rhubarb recovers well for next year! The weather here is still wet with showers and a little sunshine, feels warm when the sun is out but temp drops soon as the clouds come across, I sowed some T&M busy lizzies on the 10th May and still no sign of germinating, I have them indoors now with a proper gator lid on and no sign of anything yet!they say can take 21 days , but I’m on that now so maybe writing them as a failure! I’ll give it a few more days and see. Anyway have a great week,keep safe and look forward to next weeks episode! Dave, 👍👍
@CastleHillGarden5 ай бұрын
Thanks Dave, very cold here today like autumn. The busy lizzies can be a bit slow to germinate, I would give them a little longer. You could try putting a wet tissue on them sometimes helps, remove when germinated good luck. Regards from us both.

Hi cliff and Diane very good video always good information do you still have grapevine.
@CastleHillGarden5 ай бұрын
Yes we do sajadahmed, the original grape suffered badly with mildew, so we replaced it with a mildew resistant variety. The white grape vine we planted, is in Its third year. So we should harvest grapes this year. Thanks for watching regards Cliff.
