So they say use this can on a 16 inch barrel for 556 would it be able to handle a 11.5 with lots of burst fire?

Mines currently in jail but people say don’t do any mag dumps or anything with it because it strictly for hunting, but can it take the abuse of fast rate of fire

@@dallasdixon2035 with 556 I wouldn’t chance it. Sico will warranty it though but you run the risk of injury if it decides to banana on you. In this case there isn’t restrictions on 300blk so we can get away with an SBR. This can is meant to be affordable and light weight. So the trade off is durability in heavy use situations like you mentioned. The problem is as you fire rapidly the heat builds very fast. Just like all thing metal when it gets hot it gets more mailable causing failure points at the welds. Mix that with a shorter barrel which means not all the burn is happening in the barrel. You now have a burn happening inside the suppressor which creates significant pressure. This is a recipe for disaster of the can is not meant to support the pressure. Think about sticking a 357 magnum round in 38 special chamber. It’s going to blow up. Not sure if you’ve been around a can after a full auto mag dump but it gets extremely hot… 700+ degrees easily. I would recommend something like their chimera or their new velos. Ours has performed well with a few thousand rounds of full auto along with a fantastic reduction in blowback over standard k baffle designs. You could also venture out into rugged, otter creek labs, huxwrx, and many other brands that all have some cans that are a bit more purposed built for heavy use. Sico did just release their scythe ti which has no barrel restrictions and weighs only 8oz. How ever it is not rated for fully auto use. That one I would feel comfortable with intermediate bursts.
