Always great when your dad joins in (you're not a bad apprentice Shaun!) - he's so thorough - we could all learn a lot from him Glad to hear you're taking time off the build (we'll appreciate it taking a bit longer, even though we always want more!) - always good to see you have some adventures in the van Hope you have been able to spend some time with Kate and your children in amongst the van build, keeping us happy with videos and bleeping the footage of your dad!

That ceiling looks awesome! Have you ever thought about doing something similar to the walls instead of the dark carpet? I've seen other KZbin channels with people living in their vans and they put wooden slats on their walls. I think that would complement the ceiling pretty well.

Just a tip for your worry of letting light through the door...get some strips of wood and overlap the door on the cab side of the wall since the door won't need to come through that way. Will hide light and neaten it up. If I've poorly explained it think of skirting but around the door frame on the inside 😂

For your cab door why not split it in half so it’s like a Wild West saloon door. It would take up less space.
@tonysutton6559Ай бұрын
Have you got enough of the ceiling board left over to replace the mismatched panels in the walls?
@neilwilliams9844Ай бұрын
I’m put a single board down the center slightly lower than 2 side ply panels carpeted in black,led lights surrounding the aquostic panel. I managed to pick up my board in Trago mills £64:99 per panel. I’m lucky to live by the Merthyr branch in s.wales. Great vlogs 👍👏🏴✊KTF.

The build is looking beautiful! Does the UK have any special rules for commercial vehicles like special license plates or restrictions on street access or overnight parking? Here in the US, there are often local rules on such, which I didn’t realize until my husband bought a pickup truck that was deemed a commercial vehicle. Merry Christmas!
