addition of ABS and inverted forks wud have been the best value to money for this bike for the price at which it is coming for..something like slipper clutch, Pirelli tyres and all tht cannot be expected but atleast ABS...nice video vikas... cheers bro!!!

Nice review.. The only downside of this bike is the soft suspension.. Can you give suggestions on making the front and rear suspension harder

Your review is one of the most honest. You said what it is, and you're correct, it's a street bike. People who buy this bike will ride mostly on the roads. Now if a person wants to set the bike up to ride on the trace with suspension components and some electronics changes on the engine, rear sets and lowered clip on bars, well then it can be a track bike. I have mine set up for long distance riding, and it is quite competent. I shan't be buying another bike anytime soon!

Hi bro. I really loved this review. thnx for taking it ( Because, so far powerdrift took the review ). But, I think the drawback of R3 is the ABS is missing and no switch for headlights. That's what i really got shocked. Waiting curiously for your review of acceleration and top speed of R3.

hello vikas, i got one query pls help me out, recently i changed my rc 390 stock lever with after market cheap lever, after 2 or 3 days so, my front brake got locked up pretty bad, i was lucky as i was not speeding, is it because of lever or some other problem, really afraid now what if it happens again and what does bleeding brake means, will it help in any manner

+Leeagam Jini First of all, I am glad that you are safe. Yes, I have heard about this issue of the brakes jamming due to after market levers. I only reason I can think of is, if the aftermarket lever's design is not appropriate, it could put way excess pressure on the master cylinder than it is required and this can jam the pistons. Did you switch back to the stock levers? Do let me know.

hii Vikas..its been a long time since I was on a vacation and returned today itself. I'm looking to upgrade my 150 cc Honda Dazzler to something more powerful. I'm a student , but I work as a freelancer , so the next bike will be bought on my own money. To be honest , I am somehow inclined to the CBR 250R coz I'm absolutely amazed at Honda's build quality and overall quality of their products. My Dazzler will be 5 years old in Jan 2016 and it still returns a mileage of 54-55 kmpl and has a speedo top speed of 114-117 kmph depending on wind conditions. I've seen pulsars break down on roads , Apaches break down on roads...and even bullets and KTMs have also broken down on tours...but never have I seen a Honda break down by the road side.. So what should I do..? Should I buy the non abs version of 250R , or should I wait for few months coz a lot of bikes are in the pipeline..?

The only thing I regret about this bike is the chassis. being a R series bike it doesn't have a perimeter frame, which doesn't make it a track bike. it's OK but it would have been better if it was a track focused bike. Other than that Yamaha never disappoint in any other aspects.
