A simple way to photograph a bee above a flower

I shoot in a similar way as you when there are lots of bees: I choose a flower composition I like and then wait. Let the bees come to you! Your images are inspiring me to try some flash photography. Good video.

I've done Bee photography in bright sun light. Hi shutter speeds over 1/2000 can then be used .On my Canon R6 it sometimes recognises the bee as an animal otherwise I use spot focusing. I use "servo" auto focus to try and compensate for the movement of me or the bee. I also spray and pray. Lastly with high shutter speed and electronic shutter you can get weird effects on the wings so I use mechanical shutter or first curtain.
