A Simply BRILLIANT Cheapie: "Baldessarini - Ultimate"

In this video I discuss a Fragrance that is cheap and cheerful fragrance of ultimate delight: Baldessarini are always in the background of Frag Com's consciousness but i wanted to bring Ultimate forward and give it the spotlight. A lovely warming amber and orange scent that is slightly reminiscent of Terre D'Hermes and Bentley Absolute. Warming and rich with some spices, it's a very elegant and cheap scent that I felt deserved some recognition.

I remember about 10 years ago or more, at an airport Duty Free, when I smelled for the first time some Boldessarini fragrances which were all fantastic!!! I bought one of them, I really don't remember which one. Since then I forgot that this brand still exists. Maybe because the local Sephora and other Malls don't sell them anymore and none of the KZbinrs mentions this very interesting brand. Thanks George for reminding me! I'll check it out on the internet!!

Baldessarini I always thought it was apart of a Hugo Boss line. Going into the history I found the house being more of an independent line . With themselves having 18 fragrances within there fragrance vault. Baldessarini Amber "Hugo Boss" was my personal introduction to this house. Found it to be an almost modern metro sexual fragrance.

Now I'm confused.. It totally doesn't smell anything like Terre d'Hermès to me. I have a sample here that starts with something of a tobacco vibe, and has a large overlap with Ungaro Pour l'Homme III with it's flowery heart, touch of sweet citruses, and barbershoppy notes. A wonderful fragrance nonetheless, but questioning A.) whether or not my nose is broken or B.) the sample was mislabeled

I can vouch for the original cologne edc to be a decent daily wear fragrance too. Might need to go a bit heavy on the sprays tho. The concentree version smothers it in orange syrup.

You nailed it with the smells like terre de Hermes. Can't really tell the difference with it on each arm. ultimate maybe a bit sweeter fruit than the orange with Hermes. Fucking awesome recommendation. Bang on. Can you do a Dior dune video, the best Dior ! Thanks 👍

You should probably go for the Eau Fraiche, it's brighter and a lot fresher. Ultimate doesn't have the brightness and 'summer' tone that Eau Fraiche does.
