I have this one and ambre. Both superb. My favourite though is Baldesarini cologne. Vastly underrated house. Which is great because No one knows what I’m wearing 😎

Spot on review. Definitely under the radar or maybe people are just expecting more in the performance department. I wonder if it’s the best Baldessarini release. Others cheap and niche-like that I own are Lalique White, Encre Noire line, Dreamer and Jacques Fath Pour l’Homme. Thinking of adding Lalique Hommage a l’Homme and Equus EDP. Best bang for buck should go to Lalique unless Baldessarini has several more hidden gems up its sleeve.

Some good ones listed there. I had that Lalique Hommage and I could not get on with it , I gave it away in the end. Way too much violet for me sadly. But I will say its a good perfume for sure

Well i say ol boy 🧐 I must admit I only really remember this brand from the Boss days many moons ago. I didn't know they still made new ones. But this doesn't sound half bad at all. Thanks for another fine review

Hi Mat, I've been watching frag vids for a few months now and bought a few blind buys and lots of various samples. Most of what I get though I either dont like or it doesnt perform well and I give them to my son. Maybe bad taste or funny skin or highly strung and I need to start looking into niche? (So far bought some designers/cheapies/sample all sorts except expensive niche.)

Well in terms of performance buddy there are plenty of strong performance perfumes on this channel. Have you tried any of the orto parisi collection ? Bergamask , Terroni and Megamare are very potent and smell divine?

Have you tried 'Girl' The Comme des Garcons/Pharrell Williams collaboration? Someone on eBay is selling boxed 10ml bottles for 99p ( free p&p too) and the full presentation only costs £14 for 100ml. I mention it because the opening reminds me of Stash by SJP but goes in a different direction. I really like it, and for 99p I couldn't say no.

I've not tried it but love the bottle. It's been hitting the hype train lately because of cost and quite a few people seem to enjoy it. Maybe I'll take a punt in it. Please let me know your thoughts when it arrives

@@QuestioningScents I tried the 10ml bottle off eBay I'm really impressed. Lovely bright neroli opening with a slight peppery note, the iris is really nice (not at all lipstick/cosmetic smelling) and then the base is very woody so it leans more masculine despite being a unisex scent, anyone could wear this though. There is a warmth coming from I assume is the styrax? My nose isn't sophisticated enough to say. I'm very impressed and it has better than moderate longevity and projection off my skin. I now have a full bottle on the way from "direct cosmetics" at £14.
