Quite impressive, especially once you reach the beach. I always found that beach somewhat restrictive in the amount of options it gives you and how open it is, but you just made your own with everything the game gives you. SSI, gunpowder barrels, and even pistols. I also like that even when you have to kill that one isolated guard on the beach you use the way back as a setup to kill more guards. Looking forward to more AC4! Also, 11:29 is hilarious, that poor guard had no idea

After AC3 came out I thought the franchise would never recover from it. And then we got AC4, which was such a refreshing game. Everything about AC4 was so damn good: The story, naval, setting everything.

Black Flag is a very pretty game, and I believe the visuals will age quite well. This mission does a lot to highlight that, as the devs put a lot of effort into making the jungles/natural areas more immersive & visually appealing on the next-gen and PC versions of the game.

Very long stealth section, even for AC. This game is one of my least favorite of the series, but I respect how much unseen time you put into this. In a game where combat is always the easiest option, its refreshing to see actual assassin gameplay, well done, as per usual

I think the only thing about the Fenway saga is that the single low profile assassinations are so unsatisfying

I actually couldn’t disagree more, haha, the Kenways’ Low Profile Hidden Blade animations are my favourites of that type of animation from the series. They’re fast, chainable, predictable, and they let you pick your direction moving out of them. It’s the only time the series has actually given you control over your animations rather than having them play out like mini-cinematics.

Agreed. Unity was the last game in the series to really be playable with most of the HUD turned off. HUD should be supplemental, not mandatory.
