Mine kicks ass, love it. Got a 100w electric blanket to go for over 2hrs on an XC5.0 battery on the highest heat setting, couldn't believe it. When I get the HD12.0 I'll run the blanket on medium heat and see if I can get most of a night out of it. We'll without a doubt be able to use it for winter camping in the 4Runner.

i brought mine home put it on a 4.0 battery, that's what i had fully charged and ran a power supply with input of 115 v ac60hz 270w output of 12 amp constant. powering a amateur radio that was receiving and I did some transmitting. It ran for 3 1/2 hours

@Tony Stamp the radio in transmit pushes 10 watts and had a low power draw when just recieving. I was on a icom 705. That power supply is 12 amp constant and I think 15 amp peak, I did my best to put it through its paces drawing as much during my test.

I just used mine to power a corded ridgid drain auger, I use the auger to clear out downspouts when it gets clogged and was like hey let me take the top off up here instead of running a cord, didn’t have any issues, it was great!!

I am a Ryobi team guy. I have one with only 150 watt.from Ryobi and it can power a 12-14 inch regular cheap AC table fan. But it won't power my AC glue gun. Definitely works good for most AC led table lamps due to high energy efficiency of led lights.

with a 18 V 8 Ah battery you have 144 Wh without inverter losses. So you can use a 12 V lead acid charger, but all car batteries have a higher capacity than the tool battery. Maybe it will work to charge enough for starting.

It should be able to power almost anything with a power brick ie, anything that has a DC electronic circuit such as phone chargers, laptops, gaming consoles, etc. It might come in handy while camping with a Mr. Buddy propane heater, to run a dehumidifier at the same time.

We use simple jobsite lamps with LED bulbs for our hair lights (overhead), but our primary and fill lights are Falcon Eyes S0-68TD 27" LED video lights. As I mentioned, it was close. Once we added the TV and Switch to the studio equipment, the fan was pretty loud on the TOP-OFF. We were obviously stressing it. And as we added each thing to the power strip, it would cut power completely momentarily. Still really impressed.

Check your input voltage on your cpap. My dad loved camping, but his cpap made it difficult. He checked with the manufacturer and they sold a 12v cord, it was literally just a straight cord because the power brick dropped the 115v down to 12v DC. We made the cord with some spare parts we had instead of buying, and on a small (group 27) marine battery, he could go 4 nights without recharging the battery.

@@firebird8600 These batteries store about 1200 Wh of energy (12Vx100Ah). A Milwaukee 5Ah battery has about 81 Wh when using a 90% efficient boost converter (18Vx5Ahx0.9). That is about 7% of what you mention there ... Via the Topoff system you’ll lose MUCH more than that !

The blender and vac does the pulsing because of the internal initial start capacitor, I assume. DeWalt powerstation laughs in 1000W microwave beeps. DeWalt please make a 200W version. Dual pack if you have to. Maybe a TSATK version of the power station 1000W (1500Wpeak).

We use a Lumix GH5 for our studio shots. It can run on batteries, but we have a full rig setup that includes an AC (dummy) battery that keeps it plugged in so we don't have to use batteries and risk them running out. We also use a GH4, GH2 and a few GF cameras in the rest of our video production.

Pretty sure you could calculate that. Say you are using a 12.0 m18 battery, 12x18 gives you 216 watt hours and if your router uses say 6 watts and round up to 10 for inefficiencies for the inverter, 216/10 gives you 21.6 hours of run time, maybe a little longer

No surprise that most high output tools won't work. My commercial grade uninterruptible power supplies (UPS's aka battery backups) which have much greater capacity and allowed discharge rates, won't power those kinds of tools. Agreed though, fun to try anyway.

I only use mine for my lasonik ghetto blaster that would either take 16 D or C battery’s for 11 mins of power or take a wall plug. Hence I get unlimited power to my boom box. I got over 50 batteries from Milwaukee (8 of which are 12.0 Hd.) I mostly just use the 12hd’s IT WORKS GREAT TO POWER BOOM BOX OR BLUETOOTH THUMPERS IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! I agree the top off charge the fastest if you use a USB c to USB c cable on Samsung note 10 + 5g 2019 model and 2020 Samsung s20 and new Samsung galaxy note 20 + devices it will activate super fast charging 2.0 is amazing charges my note 10+ 5g while it on from 5 percent battery to 100 percent charge in 40 minutes

175 Watts is the Milwaukee Top Off output; seems like a basic spec to put on a video like this. It’s almost like they are trying to imply that it was more much more powerful then it was. The DeWalt power station he brought up has 1,800 running watts which would have actually powered the router, coffee maker, and vacuum. I have the DeWalt and can run my table saw with it and a vacuum or router and vacuum. Milwaukee also has a larger version though it doesn’t run on M18
