First of all and seriously ... everyone has there own opinion of , likes ,dislikes I love that. There is nothing more important that we can all voice those opinions ..... now Ill give mine ... I am so proud of ,thankful too and absolutely amazed by the things Rush has done ..... They have been playing live shows since longer than I've been alive. Im 56 years old .... to maintain a relationship let alone a successful relation ship with anyone is absolutely and totally amazing . So to have a relationship professionally with two other grown men and your own family and love ones at the same time and for over 56 years .......come on people if they never even played music I would be say holly shit how in the fuck do you do that ...what t are you people showllin guru monks ? Now on to this Geddy not good singer and his bas tone sucks bullshit.... Geddy singing tone and playing is so bad hes in the rock and roll hall of fame. and ill say it again hes been doing non stop foe over 56 years and can still sing . Singers like david lee roth and many others are total shadows of what they were. with a quarter of the time....And somthing else about mister geddy lee ...... he not onlys sings , plays basss , but also keyboards , tourus petals ....with his feet and can do this all at one time . no joke ..... He can sing , play a melody on the keys with right or left hand , whill playing bass on the opisit hand and filling in the rest of the bass line on the foot pedals like some king of vertuoso pipe organ player or some shit . And he makes it look normal ..........and easy ...... its not its exstreamly dificult to do .....I dont know of any other musician that can do it or has even tried to do it..... Thats Geddy lee Now Bass tone I must say Geddy lee has one of the best bass tone ever in the history of rock music hands down and its his tone ..... you know its geddy whem you hear him.... one more very difficult thing tio do come up with your tone not sond like this and that its fucking geddy and hes kicking you in the face when hes dsoing smiling and having fun ..... and of course he just throws in all the keytboard parts with his feet or whitch ever hand he can sneak of to do it. Im going to say hands down Geddy Lee is probably the most talented musician in all of histry n

Great post my friend! I agree 100%. I am 65 years old and frankly believed Rush sucked for most of that time. Total oversight on my part. And to my total detriment. There is a saying that it is never too late, and I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to discover Rush. Am also thankful that Rush has so much material! The Main Monkey Business live is one of the most rocking songs I have ever heard. To be honest, I used to cringe whenever I heard Geddy Lee sing. But it is more than an acquired taste. As you say, he is incredible. Rush is simply one of the greatest bands of all time.

I remember, sitting in the complete darkness in the house on abbotswood Blvd. in Palos Verdes. Sitting listening to 2112 on the boom box that my father had bought me for my birthday. Tripping on five grams of stropharia cubensis. Watching images flying out of the red treble lights on the box. Thanks dad for that big 5 LB bag of shrooms in your closet, yeehaw thank you to my friend Dominic who introduced me 2 today's Tom Sawyer. I then went out and bought the signals album it was 1982. Then 2112. nothing but fond memories listening to my favorite band in the world. I love a lot of other music this has to be my favorite
