Using my dad’s old dip pens. He probably bought them in the late 1949’s right after he got home from the war. The shafts and the nibs are a bit rusty and stained with dried India ink, but everything works just fine. I’m going back to old works done with a fountain pen and filling in more precise details and better shading.Everything is looking good.

I wish I had my parents dip pens right now. I used to pick them up and wonder what I could do with them. They wrote letters with them during the 1940s. I know Mom used these at school. I use a Rapiograph pen with waterproof ink from my high school years. 47 years ago. It is amazing what you can do with ink. I love your sketch today. Thank you.😊

This is fab. Does the painting in the background have a Louise Fletcher influence?
@KoosjeKoeneАй бұрын
I do love Louise Fletchers art. But influences are Adele sypestyn and Larissa Eremeeva, amongst others

Last week, I picked a subject that was too simple... now I'm stuck with it... Nevertheless, I got a cute little sketch this week as well... Thanks!
