I spent every day of the 9th grade in after school detention hall because of one teacher. She'd get hacked off because I would spend the entire class drawing. But what REALLY torqued her off is I would ace her exam every Friday. It was many years after I graduated that a study showed that drawing during a lecture is an excellent way to retain knowledge.

I absolutely loved this video. I'm an illustrator by trade but with 20+ years in the game have evolved into more of a graphic designer/branding identity professional artist. Over the years with work and family, I've lost the time and impetus to dive into my sketchbook like I used to right out of school.
