Best way l have ever seen to haul and dump a HALF Of a TON of gravel. Have a "new-improved" model built in 2002 that could haul THREE WHOLE TONS on a One-ton pickup truck & could keep a cap on the truck at the SAME TIME !

The fort Mcmurray fire began during Beltane in the beacon hill subdivision. Historically, Beltane has been a pagan festival time of burning the old to bring forth new life of spring. May 1 is the anniversary of the Illuminati founding 1776. This fire actually began in the early hours of May 1 and got out of control May 3. Jasper fire began July 22 and bohemian grove cremation of care ceremony was the day prior. I see your video ends with a nod to this. Coincidences are all around us for those with the eyes to see. Nice work Dan! You’ve come around. I pointed out the Beltane thing back then and you weren’t ready. Glad to see you’re aware now. Keep up the fight brother!

The problem with his box is, where I live, the rock is loaded in my truck with a front end loader. The rocks would not all land in the wooden box. The rocks would go under the box, hinder the rollers and gouge the truck bed. I guess I could modify it to have ramped sides to cover more area.
@tommcdaniel63047 жыл бұрын
Great idea! Have you added any more height to the sides of the dump? My reason is that in my area they use a front-end loader to put gravel in the bed. Taller sides would allow the gravel and other things, to not get jammed between truck box sides and slider. Great video. Keep on with the great suggestions and videos.

looks like a good way to break something. but affective. if you were to get any stone under it when loading you would probably be shoveling it out

Couldn't you put higher sides and make it bigger!

You can back up about 6 feet or so to tip over.

One problem I see is that you get a trail of product instead of a pile. After you do the backup and dump, untie the restraint rope, and then pull forward just a little bit (don't let the sled fall off), then backup. This will start moving the sled towards vertical and thus making a pile instead of a trail.
@sgwhite48 жыл бұрын
Marvin Carvin But he wants it to trail
@manthonychavez7 жыл бұрын
That MAY or MAY NOT be a problem! I can't think of any application where a PILE would be better.. usually gravel is SPREAD..
@calfeggs7 жыл бұрын
not great for piles but f your graveling a driveway perfect.
@garpikemike1 Жыл бұрын
Pile =shoveling and then grading. Trail = grading only.

Some people has got the best ideas on how to do something right, it's the ones telling the that posted the video or the critic telling that it's not right. But what the heck they never make a video showing how their pro arse would do it

Nice..but not original. This project was featured in Mother Earth News back in the late 70's. Good application for a beater pick-up, but not one as featured in the video.

That is the worst thing I have ever seen. Remove tailgate? What happens when a pebble gets underneath the box and jams the roller(s). About one of the worst ideas I have ever seen.
@matthewwarfield43025 жыл бұрын
Have never seen a truck loaded at a gravel pit that way. Most load with a bucket loader, making this useless...
@jeremymarshall70345 жыл бұрын
How is it use less?... The gravel still goes in the back either way
@matthewwarfield43025 жыл бұрын
@@jeremymarshall7034 Apparently you have never watched a truck being loaded by a tractor. The gravel doesn't just go where you want it to, it spills everywhere, and would jamb up any "sled" you would try to pull out.
@jeremymarshall70345 жыл бұрын
I'm watching it happen now. A simple funnel box on top would keep that from happening.

It's all about stopping his expensive manly truck from getting a scratch. He should have just had someone to dump it and keep using his truck for groceries.

Sliding dump bed makes ripping your tailgate off and FUCKING your $60000 truck up easy and fast. Old truck? Probably works great

Geez. The $100 it took to make and $1000 to fix the bumper probably more expensive than getting a load delivered...

And it only took 10 hours to build and set up, as opposed to 20 minutes of shoveling!

So one would have to wonder why is it impossible to realize the removal of the tailgate and the addition of flashing to assist the superficial appearance of the truck. While completely negating the safety hazard and damage you're doing your suspension et al. It's no wonder no one considered driving a dig bar or several concrete stakes attaching a chain and driving away slowly until the bed has been pulled clear and dumped? Moreover I am curious why you would not remove the tailgate of the dump box before you back up like that truck didn't cost nearly $100,000?
@josephcornwall46192 жыл бұрын
Bro you need to buy yourself punctuation. Authority can suck it with safety. Oh just like your comment on this video. Mine is also a little late, but no he didn't spend 100k in 2009 on that truck. All that being said he is your dad
@stevehartley68148 жыл бұрын
Daft as a brush, surely you can buy by the bag
@johnmoran34226 жыл бұрын
You obviously don't buy much material.... by the bag is SO much more expensive! Buying in bulk is always the way to go IF you have a way of getting it to the place you wanna to use it. I laugh at some of my clients who buy bark or rock by the bag.... it is just so much more expensive than going down to the local bulk supplier.

Wow that is the cheapest, easiest way I have seen yet. Oh, the dump truck was invented for rich people who can't operate a screwdriver to save their life. That is why they usually hire others to operate it.
