So lovely to have you back!! I am a complete Nomad, dividing myself between, Portugal, Oxford and Cornwall. I also go to other places but those three are Home. I find with all my travelling, I don't think about anywhere but where I am at the moment, I don't pack or think of the next one usually within 24 hours before leaving, sometimes less than that, so that each place gets my undivided attention. My Home tends to be always with me rather than a place, which is why travelling is so easy. I am sorry that you are sad to be here, when I fly over the UK it is the greenest place I have ever lived. Enjoy Derbyshire, Paris hasn't gone anywhere without you. ❤Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. ❤

That’s interesting because I’ve been in a creative lull recently too. I’m a dancer and my fans are asking “when’s your next performance?” But honestly I don’t feel inspired to perform. Yet I’ve been exploring paint by numbers. Sometimes we have to be creative in a different way that feels less performative, more free.

As an expat that has moved from Italy to the UK I totally get that feeling of grief, even if just with regards to the place, the smell, the atmosphere of certain things that can trigger certain stuff, anyway… it is not easy at all…, hugs to you! ;-) I do agree about creativity and its healing power🙌🏻 during the summer I have also started my KZbin channel, which turned out to be quite challenging… but I keep telling myself that it’s of course the pleasure out of the process that actually matters and need to focus on. ;-) 😊

Ahhh so good to see another vlog. So sorry for grief all around. I hope resolution and peace come to your situation. It's hard I think to return to what once was bc there is always the wondering of what could have been. Creating each day keeps me feeling more like myself and gives me my “glow.” Thank you for your guidance in the writing workshops. Yay you are back! Hope you soon get the visa. Summer has been weird for me. Some small things have been bliss. But some days sheer hell. I’m three weeks into a cancer referral. That two weeks fast track has turned into a six week referral due to there not being enough appointments. So every day is slow. Waiting for that call. Unfortunately my body has also failed in the same area a lump is. So potentially two big ops. Or one major one. Scared stiff. And every day trying to take my mind off it all. I just want to know what’s happening rather than be in limbo. But weirdly through this hell I am thinking of nice things I want to do after it all is done.

Maybe you can take a look over at Sherri Harmel's latest video about Acknowledging what you've done right - Right decisions are hard decisions. She's older than you but has also just written a book, and lives mostly in Paris but travels back home to the US. Her channel is Extraordinary Women with Sharri Harmel. When I found the channel I was thinking "what is this anyway"....then I started watching and listening to her stories and advice and I find I really like her and take into consideration many of the topics she explores. It's like having a wise older friend that you learn things from and appreciate their life advice.....

I am disappointed that you gave up on the UK and found the content sad. You have moved from a very provincial area to a large city and the contrast is huge and I think you needed a livelier environment but not a city in England perhaps and escaping is what you needed.
