38:08 This is so interesting, and it overlaps with what I have begun reading on my channel today, which is The Hidden life of trees by Peter Wohlleben- and I read about how trees are social and they need to communicate with one another in order to live longer, in order to support one another, in order to protect one another and in order to keep and maintain a healthy ecosystem that all can thrive, and it spoke about how loner trees or trees in isolation have much shorter lives and die faster, one of the reasons being because of lack of social life, lack of communication, company, care, support, it spoke about trees whilst reflecting life and many things in life, one being society and social scale for example. I cannot wait to venture further. I highly recommend it, Maybe you have already read it - if so, I would love to hear your take! I suppose this comment is for both of you and anyone else.

Hi Dali, I've not read that, but I'm very familiar with this aspect of trees, and forests more broadly. Adding mycelial networks is intertwined here, especially given the tie to human cognitve connection
