Hi, I’m struggling understanding 30 markers and its starting to become quite stressful, it would be wonderful if you could clarity the issue for me. For a question like ‘evaluate the importance of internal factors’ do I have to start every paragraph with an internal factor and then evaluate it with an external factor? My teacher said that this is the case, but online I see students saying you don’t need to do this. If I could remember only 5 theories for class (including internal and external) that would be great, but I’m not sure

I would recommend the same as your teacher. Start with internal and evaluate as you go along. Otherwise you run the risk of juxtaposition (and not actually answering the question set, eg. To evaluate the internal factors) if you start with external , you are basically writing what you want to write about and not exactly what the question is asking.

@@TheTEACHERSOCIOLOGY That makes sense thx. For a question like ‘evaluate the view that education is meritocratic’ do I have to do the same thing then? I feel it would be a struggle to make 5 paragraphs for this if i do it that way.
