I loved this. The art was done so well. would you ever consider just a channel where you posted videos of your art sketches and discussed your process?

started shopping to get a tablet for my wife just yesterday, and saw this video go up right as I was going to bed. The internet's timing is getting too good XD

Not for me (at the moment), but seems like a good alternative to Wacom, I'll keep them in mind. Also nice drawings, love the one with the wizard!

My friend I never knew you were an artist! Is there a place I might go to find some of your works? P.S. I was laughing so hard when I saw you draw and erase a line 100 times because I found it so relatable.

I picked this up on your recommendation and I absolutely love it. It's soild and steady, and given that I only have a laptop set up, it's perfect for it!

I have an xp pen 12, and it's very good! The first one I got came DOA, but it only took one call for them to give me a code to send it back for free while they sent a replacement, and I've had no issue since. It has the same lack of being able to alter the colours and such, but I just keep an eye on my monitor for that, and it also has some weird cable stuff going on that might require a usb extension or two depending on what your desk setup looks like. If all you can afford is a $200 tablet, you can't go wrong with the 12.

@@shiverpurple @Wanderson Knight The screen is similar to a flat pc monitor, so it has a matte, anti-glare texture that I'd say is comparable to printer paper. I'd still recommend getting a screen protector for it tho, just for longevity, and then you can have some options for what kind of texture you want. The 12 has a display screen that's very high quality, it replicates your pc monitor perfectly unless you have altered contrast/brightness/tinting settings, at which point it just displays the same things but with default settings. You can adjust the screen brightness, although not as much as a pc monitor, but unless you're in a really dark or really bright room it's just fine. Crisp image quality. And it tracks the pen perfectly even with default settings. Initial installation is a little bit tricky in that you have to plug certain things in first, then turn it on, and then plug the last thing in, IIRC, but it tells you this in the instruction manual so as long as you read it thoroughly it's no trouble, and after that first time you don't have to do anything special.

Mmm, I like the geometric drawing on the right. I spent a very short time exploring fantasy art inspired by Gaudi's illustration and didn't do much more. Perhaps I should revisit this direction.

It depends what you need. If you want a screen tablet, and you want it to be portable with a laptop, this is a good bet. If you want the highest quality and price isn't a problem, get a Wacom. If you want a screen tablet that's a bit cheaper and less portable, the offerings from GAOMON and Artisul are good enough to start with. If you're not in the market for a screen-tablet, I can recommend Wacom Intuos, but I don't have any recent experience with other brands.

now a days idk if to buy a hawei tablet with pen (similar what Ipad are for drawing) or buy something to stick to my pc. Anywas, a wonderfull alternative to wacom.

Dude, I’m my country Wacom is way more affordable… I really don’t know why, but this tablet is 3500R$ and a comparable Wacom product is around 2500-3000R$ But good review my friend.

XP-Pen has one of the worst drivers possible. It every day resets my settings and preferences when I reboot my computer. If the hdmi chord is pulled out slightly it will cause the whole computer to become choppy and unusable. And for the life of me it won't ever save my video settings on it. The cheaper screens make drawing a pain sometimes with the dragging feel of the touch screen, and I don't want to configure my whole setup again to draw for an hour. The screen is nice, the colors good, but the driver needs more than an updating
