Both the Onewind 12ft Hammock & the Tarp with doors are excellent mate, I have both and you can spread out in the hammock with flat lay and the tarp has great coverage, tie outs etc. GREAT VISUALS ON POST. 👌

I love them wild trails Ben that make navigation challenging. And I love the Black Mountains. It's a fantastic range you've chosen. I gotta say I don't use mummy bags. I've always used Snugpak, which through the choice of zip line can enlarge giving you ample room. Nice spot - I agree water can send you a bit mad - prefer that quiet. I just felt the forest space there - great flight showing us exactly where. Yeah responsible campers only. Thanks for the heads up. I once cleaned that Bothy up and even got the association to change the burner. Well, good going. All the best. Mark

Great video Ben mate...loved this one. What a view you had there and the peace and quiet is what we all are looking for and seldom find. Great idea with the tent pegs, especially with the possibility of rain in Wales...never can be too certain. Loving those tree huggers...any links to them? Heard that pines often leech tar over the tree huggers and that the solution is like a sheath that slips over them. You're right about the cold at 3-4am...happened at my last hang a month ago. All I was wearing was a tee-shirt...so had my underquilt on my daisy chain waiting xnd just pulled it out and used it as a top quilt...worked perfectly. Looking forward to your next video if this one is anything to go by. Much love from a cloudy Kent today

Cheers for the comment mate, glad you enjoyed it! Good idea hanging the under quilt from your hammock ready to go! The tree huggers were just from an Amazon search to be fair. I swapped them out for some DD ones also from Amazon that didn’t have the daisy chain parts. They weren’t a lot to be honest, about 10 quid! But not the lightest things in the world.
@stevetaylor84462 жыл бұрын
@@CoulterTravel I've purchased several on Amazon, but they have been a bit narrow compared to previous ones...yours look about as wide as the wider ones I bought before. I saw the DD ones and went for the daisy chains instead with no regrets. Keep up the great video work mate, loving the different setups and sceneries...look forward to your next one buddy and a huge 👍 from me

@@stevetaylor8446 Cheers Steve. Yeah I think the daisy chains and whoopie slings definitely make for a real quick setup and take down, which is always a bonus in the Welsh mountains when rain can come at any moment!

Haven tent looks awesome, by far the best of the tent hammocks, can be used as ground tent with 2 walking poles, I would contact Derek directly, would be great to see a review.....
