I love that you guys have discovered Fred Dibnah AND The Lancashire Hotpots! I used to watch Fred on TV when I I was a kid with my grandad, who was an engineer. The BBC released a few Fred documentaries in 4k on KZbin recently, might be why you guys got a huge bump in your Fred videos. Keep up the amazing content fellas, and greetings from the UK✌️

The Lancashire Hot Pots also are famous for their song "chippy tea" . My local radio would always play it on Fridays 😃 a traditional chippy tea night. A Lancashire hot pot is like a meat , onion & veg pot pie but with a layer of sliced potatoes on top, but it is also very common to find a puff pastry lid version instead of the sliced potatoes.

I just recently put up a Fred Dibnah video you have yet to see. It is set in Bolton too. It shows off his ingenuity "Fred Dibnah demolishing Bolton's last fancy chimney brick by brick - 1983"

I live in Bolton so I pass the statue every day, sadly the town centre is dead now with lots of boarded up shops, Fred himself is outside a coffee chain called Cafe Nero and he looks towards a McDonalds and a Greggs. I'm sure he'd prefer it if it was a Carrs Pasties.

I can remember as a child when we climbed trees etc. my parents would say ‘Don’t go too high, you’re no Fred Dibnah.’ We didn’t even question it as everyone knew who he was and what he did.. he climbed high and then climbed higher still in 2004. RIP Fred Dibnah 🧨🪵

Alreet lads ,I stumbled on your videos a few days ago and have literally watched your Dibnah reactions non-stop ... so its possible I'm a big blame to them coming back in your algorithms 😂... am in Lancashire,and 56 this yr and remember watching Fred through the 70s onwards. I'm. amazed these lads got hold of the Lancashire Hotpots, a hilarious novelty act singing about life in North West England and bizarrely, digital technology. I know the record producer, John Kettle of excellent folk rock band "Merry Hell" from Wigan, my original home town. I once just missed meeting Fred, who was at the Bloxham Steam Rally.

Went to Bolton last week for my mot and was shocked at the town centre. So sad to see. Ona more positive note chippy tea is probably the funniest tune of all time!✌🦡🤘💙
