I don’t have to imagine just walking down the road and seeing them busking. I have seen Ren (with or without The Big Push) busking loads of times in Brighton and they were all always brilliant but Ren was special.

Another great busking performance from The Big Push is "Wade in the water / Nina simone / Trouble so hard". For me, this is right up there with I Shot the Sheriff and War Pigs. What I really like about their covers/mash ups, is they do a really wonderful job of honoring the original but yet still putting their own touch on it.

Ren has an awesome vocal range high or low or in between …the band changes guitars around from time to time i Ren mostly lets the others shine more on the guitar. He says Romain is one of the best guitarist around He plays with Ren on Money Game ,1 and MG Live ,, Romain Axisa ( guitar ) Gorran Kendall ( bass & acoustic guitar) are very talented and have their solo stuff too ... .each member does different styles of music but when all 4 play they are magic and the harmonies are killer the band does not have a bad song ..the drummer Glenn Chambers also knows guitar

Ren loves all types of music. Sinatra. Sting. Classic classical. And said he may put together a crooners style album at some point( frank Sinatra, Michael Bubble, nat King Cole. Etc) I would love that. Rap is not for me except Rens stuff. His voice is dynamic and can fit any genre. Please keep exploring all his genre. And I so suggest a referral from Ren that I am hooked on Asaf Avidan. For a first song "900 days" no he's not a rapper. But don't doubt he could do it brilliantly

I really hope Ren can find a way to perform live again sometime. He has recently accepted that he will not be able to tour. And busking, which he loves, just would not be the same. Think wr all still hope that Gorran and Glenn will return to Brighton long enough for a renion show. Ren just puts himself under so much pressure that his autoimmunity can flare like it just did. Just as many people with chronic illness, it seems with every relapse ,he loses a bit of himself. The theme of Slaughterhouse.

Im always telling this story but i love it, i was shopping in Brighton and by chance happened upon a big crowd watching the big push and i couldn't believe my ears and eyes. Buskers are quite common in Brighton they even have a yt channel but ive never seen a crowd like i did that day. I stayed to watch and forgot the shopping.

Ren in Red = 🔥🔥 Suspenders/braces, Coverall, Tie, joggers. Anytime Ren does a retake (aka a RENdition) he adds a twist that was not part of the original however it adds to the song in a lovely way.

This is the corner where Ren and his band busked for years. People knew of them and showed up in masses. Even later when Ren started filming his videos. People would call the police. Police arrived and say "" oh it's just Ren" and leave. Lol

Every single member is so talented. And aside from the drummer, they all sing, have solo careers, and switch roles depending on the song. But the real magic of The Big Push is that it’s foremost a group of friends that bonded over a shared love for music and they’re just sharing the fun they’re having with the rest of us.
