Ren and Sam's co-written Blind eyed busking went viral and gave Ren hope of having a music career. This was 2018 when they were getting shootouts from Eltin John on his radio show. People would fly in from othet countries to hear them busking.

Sam Tompkins is a singer/songwriter from Brighton, UK. He is an incredible artist who recently opened up for Justin Bieber in Norway. Sam has several songs, “Bloodline,” “Hero,” “Follow Suit,” “Whole,” and “Not So Grey,” that address some serious issues like family, mental health, suicide, and other struggles. “You Broke My Heart So Gently,” “Critical,” “You're The Love Of My Life,” “Google Luv,” “Ten Feet Apart,” and his cover of Tears For Fears' “Mad World” are beautiful, but his entire catalog is well-worth listening to. I usually prefer the acoustic version of Sam’s songs. His release, “Time Will Fly,” is currently my favorite song of his and one of my favorite songs overall, with “See Me” and “Lose It All” running close behind. His rendition of “How To Save A Life (Cover)” is also stunning and really reveals his soulfulness. Unfortunately, it is way too short, not the full-length version of the original. Sam recently released his debut album “Hi, My Name Is Insecure,” which is truly beautiful. Sam’s collaborations with Ren are definitely a must. There are so many amazing things about Ren the artist.. but a awesome side effect is he connects with multiple artists who are also incredible artists on their own.. Ren is a gift that keeps on giving.. through him i have found, Chinchilla, Sam Tompkins, Asaf Avidian, the big push and im sure im forgetting someone.. and there are probably more that i just haven't discovered yet... When i watch this one.. i just become so jealous of the audience.. i mean.. can you imagine.. you're out and about.. shopping or what have you.. and you wonder onto this scene... What?
